The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
Does pouring water on the reactants not take the heat out of them together then? Is that what oil fires are like also? And white phospherous? Interesting stuff
Question for one of you chemical nerds out there if you don't mind! Why exactly is it difficult to extinguish a lithium fire?
dadoffour, believe it or not "lurking" is the technical term for someone who frequents a board without posting themselves - just reading what others say. I'm sure it's not meant to be an insult, I've seen it used in other places too
Good article there punter
At the risk of sounding like a fool, I ask - are canals going to be as significant as national grids?
No sympathy for short sellers from me
Aren't VRFBs like 95% water? I recall reading that somewhere
Surprised is a good word for this morning. Up we go, it seems!
You think you're a realist, but then you'd be doing what Fortune is - worrying about the stuff that's under your control. That's one of the basic rules about doing things right.
I think most people here are annoyed by profound stupidity, not criticism
Actually no bassguy, and the 7 misguided people who recommended your post, there does not "have to be a reason" for anything. It's that simple. If the market doesn't understand BMN (as it is a much more complex company than Invinity and Largo) or they do not have faith in SA, then the sentiment could languish forever. Of course, we don't think that will be the case.
There's some damn exciting stuff in the pipeline I've been seeing all thanks to the posts from the rest of the long term holders here. Thanks a bunch
Alfa that is a damn good article on TBP. I've saved that!
Hi TanzanianDevil, great to hear you have a role in energy. Anything you can do to help promote vanadium, BMN, and possibly especially the benefits of vanadium over lithium for large scale batteries, would be great.
For anyone not aware, Simply Wall Street's evaluations are mostly automatically generated by their website based on specific factors. Wouldn't trust them at all, for anything. Read research or do the research yourself.
Yep. We still have a long way to go on EUS as the company adds more contracts, but since our platform is tested to handle tons of transactions, the stable cost base means any extra falls right through to the bottom line
Indeed BTB, it's going to be great when we hear news of the first MoD contracts coming in, either at Appledore or Belfast.
Renewable stocks are doing well today. LNG storage is low-carbon, so that helps a little bit I guess.
I like the humour slowburner. And let's not forget, their system is tested to handle billions of transactions with a stable cost base, so as the amount of transactions handle ramps up, the costs remain largely the same. So all of that extra revenue should fall right through to the bottom line. Big win
The company has not long ago generated maiden revenues, any big contract win would be massively good news
