Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Definitely Canaccord who have been selling for some time now. They are selling a number of mining related stocks and it is not specific to LND. Hopefully once they are finished we should rerate quickly. Very frustrating but it is what it is. I’ve taken the opportunity to top up at these crazy prices.
RD
Had it on good authority that Arconas who were one of the original shareholders, haven’t sold a single share and their percentage holding has gone down as they didn’t take part in the recent fundraising’s. There has been a seller and hopefully they will be finished soon…
RD
Just had it confirmed off the company that James Hudleston has NOT been selling and the recent RNS referred to his percentage holding after the placing which he did not take part in...

I think it’s worth pointing out that they took PGD to a 2 million oz plus deposit in quick time and the share price from pennies to 70p so if you’d sold then you’d have made a fortune. Only wish I had!
Unfortunately the company weren’t able to control the collapse in the gold price, the corrupt Argentinian government and mining ministry, the horrendous exchange rate from the peso to the dollar which impacted on the money the company made from the sale of gold, ridiculously over the top and very expensive health and safety legislation that was brought in for on site operations, world economy going down the pan and a myriad of other issues out with the companies control.
Thankfully we’re in Canada!!
RD
Good to hear from you Mads and good to hear you’re on the mend.
Gone are the days when it was only the famous five posting on LSE!
It’s looking good!
RD
Agree Mads. Seems a strange thing to announce unless there is something more significant to it... ??
Mads / UR / Dirk
I share the frustrations about PGD but a lot of that frustration is at myself and not necessarily BH / RP. I made a small fortune (for me) with PGD on paper and could have sold at any time. Unfortunately I got greedy and lost most of it.
It’s worth remembering that we hit the perfect negative storm with PGD, plummeting gold price, corruptIon in local and national government, inflation, mining bans, problems acquiring mining machinery, the list goes on. I just feel it is unfair to lay all these problems at the feet of the board.
My rose tinted specs are maybe on with LND but I’m happy this is a different beast to PGD and we won’t encounter the issues they did, most of which were outwith their control.
Thanks again for your ongoing contributions chaps.

Many thanks for taking the time to do the analysis InvestmentJ.
Like others on here, I’ve been invested in Landore since the beginning and it’s been a frustrating journey to say the least!
As you know, we started off a nickel play and have a significant nickel resource at Junior Lake. We changed to a gold play (thankfully) after a significant gold discovery which was all kicked off whilst we were still drilling for nickel back around 2016 and the company have done a fantastic job getting us to where we are today with limited resources. Yes we are a lot more diluted than we were but that is the nature of exploration work.
We now have a compliant resource of over a million ounces and Bill H has made reference on a number of occasions for the potential for this to be a MULTI million ounce resource. I have little doubt this is the case and from memory the belt could stretch for over 30 kilometres so the sky really is the limit. Bill certainly knows his onions and is a very experienced operator so we’re in safe hands.
I believe the two old codgers may have done it again!
In relation to Richard Prickett, there was nothing sinister in him stepping down. I understand it was for family / personal reasons and he is still used by the company as a consultant as and when required.
For me, like a few of us on here, I’ve averaged down a lot over the last year or two and was more than happy to hold however the Eric Sprott involvement is a game changer IMO and brings with it the wider exposure the company has been lacking. It’s worth noting Sprott has taken a personal stake in the company rather than through his corporation so he obviously liked what he heard! I don’t think there are many better endorsements for a company than someone of his stature coming on board.
Another important point is the POG. Given we are entering a bull market and with current world events I can only see the gold price increasing and with it the value of each of our ounces in the ground. Sentiment for the junior explorers is also improving which all adds to the mix.
Looking forward to hearing what Mr Sprott has to say!
Our time is coming...
RD
Great news today. To get someone of Eric Sprotts magnitude on board is a real coup and credit where it is due to Bill H and the rest of the LND staff for their hard work behind the scenes. It will be interesting to hear the exposure ES should now bring.
On another note, where is UR? I hope he hasn’t slept in on today of all days!
RD
Eric Sprott 9.72%!!!!
RD
Not a cat in hells chance the EGI is selling IMHO. Surely he’ll have invested for a multi bag return. It wouldn’t surprise me if he’s the one buying.
RD
All resolutions passed at EGM. Now to find out who our EGI is...
RD
Wouldn’t want to be out of this over the weekend...
RD
Think it’s safe to say Nice we're all a little bit excited. Goodness knows we deserve it after the years of torture we’ve endured!
RD
Just been looking at Frank Giustra. Blimey, to have someone of his calibre on board would be huge...
RD
Any other time in LND’ looong history we’d have been back to the placing price now if not below it. This feels very different and just reinforces my rose tinted view.
Agree Dirkus / Mads that they will have to issue a TR1 and the result of that - depending who it is - could be very significant.
RD
Well chaps,
I’m getting more and more confident our time is coming.
The volume of shares traded recently far outweighs anything we’ve seen before and I’m excited to see who this gold investor is. This could be a game changer IMO and AT LAST we should get the exposure we’ve so frustratingly lacked over the years.
I’ve topped up my holding and with the price of gold expected to rise further think we’re in for an exciting few months.
RD
Well chaps I have to say I was disappointed when I initially read this mornings RNS. Not another bloody fundraising! HOWEVER, the more I’ve thought about it, 'eminent gold investors' don’t come on board unless they are confident they’re onto a good thing. Be very interesting to see who it is (not that I’m familiar with any eminent gold investors!) and there is always the hope they'll bring much needed wider exposure to a very 'under the radar' stock.
My rose tinted specs are definitely on...
RD
UR they probably haven’t paid their internet bill...??
