Could these be in fact buys, and something to do with today's RNSs?

Why are people selling so few shares? Probably bots doing automatic balancing trades.

Del - get that villa in Spain! We did five years ago, and haven't regretted it. Can't be there atm, but when we are, I can wait till 8am to get up for the RNSs, as things are an hour later.

JJ - it's a year this week since I last earned any fee income. One year with no earnings.
Thank goodness I'd been able to save over the past few years, and now use this money to get some income from S&S trading.

Could be that the MMs were filling that order, so had to hold down the price to meet it

@jackthe bear. Not sure I agree with your comment, 'it's my language to write as I want to'. That would be like saying, "it's my road, so I'll drive how I want to" Language belongs to all of us, so we need to recognise the 'rules' and conventions that make it a useful shared tool.

Jackthebear....I respect your views and support the idea that you never want to be ill-mannered and hurtful. However, communication is all about clarity; not using punctuation or good sentence-structure reduces clarity and impact. When you write, it's best not to be thinking of your own needs and preferences, but the needs of the reader.
I am glad people have corrected my poor grammar / spelling /punctuation, as it gives me confidence to express myself well.

Addicknt....'.its' is a possessive pronoun (like yours, his, hers, theirs, ours etc) so doesn't have an apostrophe. It's is always and only a contraction of 'it is'.

It's not the MMs showing buys as sells - it's down to LSE and its algorithms...
