Not sure about the 30bn shares but certainly the court has instructed ALBK to delist from the LSE as detailed in the press release. They will still be listed elsewhere though and I am not sure what this will mean in terms of any shares you currently hold - I would expect that to be part of the subject of an RNS.
If you are looking to invest in this share please, at the very least, visit their website and factor this into your decision. In particular this page http://www.telecom-plc.co.uk/page2.htm that relates to the directors of the company is quite interesting.
First of all I am not holding any of these shares so please factor that into my comments (which are intended to be merely a possible scenario).
I was holding MECOM shares when they did their consolidation and they dropped for quite a while afterwards (hence my being cautious about buying into here just yet). Having said that, after a while of being in the doldrums they then shot up and made me a nice profit.
I don't know if thats typical of a consolidation as I am new to this but would treat with caution any comments that indicate this "will fly".
Surely if, after a 10 to 1 consolidation, this share is 50p at Christmas something must have gone horribly wrong? The consolidation will make the share value about £2.60 (on current figures) won't it?
Got this from iii
"FTSE said the motor dealer would be joining the FTSE All Share index later this month. This can only be good for the SP"
Perhaps the reason for the rise?
