Badsterman - I think you are jumping the gun with satorasib it was funded and developed by Amgen. But what is interesting is that although it has accelerated FDA approval back in July 2021 it still had to carry out an additional trial to confirm that the treatment helps patients with NSCLC live longer without their cancer getting worse.

And whilst satorasib deffinately appears to reduce the tumour it was only temporary (approx 7 months) - and there are side effects - Among people with NSCLC in the CodeBreaK100 trial, 70% experienced a treatment-related side effect—most commonly diarrhea, pain in the muscles or bones, and nausea. Although most side effects were mild, 25 people (20%) experienced a serious side effect and one had a life-threatening side effect.

But apparently what it has done is finally open up the probability of finding more treatments for KRAS mutations

On that note, those that read my rather longwinded synopsis of the Pendulum/Crypto ecosystem will hopefully have gathered that it is DTransfer (powered by Pendulum) where I see the huge revenue potential. I am currently in the process of researching the sector but thought a couple of basic stats would be worth re-iterating.

2) At present practically all of this is carried out by banking institutions with over 75% going through swift.

Just adding to my post re Parachain timeline I did just mean to add that during this time we can expect various announcements as Pendulum partners and integrates with various other decentralised applications along the way to enhance the Pendulum blockchain.

Viera - Sorry Im not one for predictions Im afraid, there is enough ramping around without me adding to it. I will however just state that the potential of de-centralised finance and in particular the distributed ledger technology of blockchain for the future of not only cross border payments but payments in general, in my view makes Satoshipay/Pendulum/DTransfer a genuine unicorn contender. Right now its only potential and if (its a big if) they are successful they will be worth many many multiples of the figures you stated. It seems to me that this financial revolution (for want of a better word) is inevitable, a bit like the world wide web was in the nineties, so its now a matter of deciding which of the thousands of horses to back and sit back for a few years.

My thoughts on timing for Parachain Auction timescale

All we can really do is make comparisons with recent Polkadot Parachains to get an idea of how soon Pendulum might go for Parachain Auction. Its a bit long winded but I think its important to explain my hypothisis.

So take Moonbeam. The developers of Moonbeam started in early 2020 pretty well while the Polkadot ecosystem was also being developed. They launched their own testnet in Sept 2020. At around the same time Polkadot launched Rococo testnet but at the time it was for their own purposes rather than for potential parachains. It wasnt until late Dec 2020 that rococo was opened up as a public testnet but it was apparently not particularly stable. From what I can gather it wasnt until Oct 2021 (when it was upgraded) that it was truly fit for purpose.

The only reason I mention all this is that Moonbeam never fully launched on Rococo because of this and continued development on their own testnet, having to launch 8 different versions as the development went along to allow them to connect to all the various community developers/Daaps/Smart contracts etc and they eventually entered Kasuma Parachain auction Aug 2021 followed by winning the second Polkadot Parachain Auction Dec 2021

So from start to first testnet was approx 6-8 months, then approx 11 months to Kasuma Parachain, and 4 months to Polkadot Auction.

I believe Pendulum will be much quicker. Firstly when comparing Moonbeam to Pendulum it is very clear that Pendulum are developing at a much faster pace.

Satoshipay initially received the grant from Stellar to develop Pendulum in June 2021 and they launched the Pendulum testnet and Pendulum prototype 5 months later (Nov 2021) I think the next phase will also be much quicker than Moonbeam because the functionality of running on the Rococo testnet will be far more efficient than having to release 8 versions of your own testnet, and Rococo is now specifically designed as a precursor to becoming a parachain. So as it has already been 3 months since Pendulum launched their own testnet I would estimate that from Rococo to Kasuma parachain could/should only be another 2- 4 months (just a guess but it means a total of 5-7 developing months from original testnet) and then another 2-3 months to the Polkadot Parachain Auction.

So my guess is Rococo Feb 2022, Kasuma May-July 2022, Polkadot Aug -Nov 2022 (remember Lumenswap roadmap states Pendulum launch Q4 2022)

All the above just an old git guessing.

TRat - have you seen this presentation from Dr Moschos back in Sept - it sounds like the trails had to be re-started in Brazil. Most of it is technical but from about 10.30mins in he talks about issues with trials

TRat - totally agree although I do have concerns over the lack of transparency over exactly what the issues are concerning the Microtox BT. I am a staunch supporter of DVRG but it has to be said that this particular development its so far been a huge disappointment when GB originally suggested to only be months away from roll-out. I dont think for one minute that this was deliberate, almost certainly an over enthusiastic hope, but as a shareholder I would like to what is happening wit BT.

Im looking into the timescale but a bit tied up today as family have decided to visit and interupt my peace. But I suspect timescales are going to be quicker than some my think. The development to get this far has been outstanding up til now when compared to others, but will do some more research soon.

Further to dukes post re twitter from Torsten Stüber stating -We are very close to launching our first @pendulum_chain testnet on Rococo - I needed to know what this means .Below are my findings (hopefully in normal english)

So basically Rococo was the first incarnation of the Polkadot network designed by Parity as a testnet specifically to test all the polkadot protocols released on Aug 2020 and since then the ‘canary’ relay chain Kasuma and the main relay chain Polkdot have been launched.

When developers are developing anything within web2 or web3 they use a test environment (a testnet) to write and develop all the coding. Up until now pendulum will have developed everything within their own testnet. But that means it is completely independent from all the other parachains that it will eventually interact with

Rococo has become the Polkadot ecosystem Relay chain testnet for experimentation and testing ground for projects that plan to launch parachains. This means it allows for developing parachains to interact with the Relay Chain, rather than running isolated Substrate standalone TestNets.

So in very simple terms the process is this:

Once the fundemental coding of the project has been completed on the independent testnet, the Parachain process starts by moving over to the Rococo testnet for further testing and bug fixing within a parachain ecosystem.

Once Pendulum and Polkadot are happy the code is ready they open it up for testing for interaction with other parachains on the system. Then once that has all been done checked and approved they will basically be allowed to enter the Parachain Auction for Kasuma.

Kasuma is a live relay chain that serve as an additional proving ground for parachains, and allows the Polkadot community to observe the network effects and conduct further testing and optimizations.

Once everything is tested and fully approved on Kasuma it becomes eligible for full migration to auction for Polkadot Parachain
