New - Sorry I am not explaining myself - my point is why was the contract awarded to a one man band consultant without even a web site - when it should have been awarded to a specialist contractor or manufacturer

Its all very odd because the description of the contract simply does not correspond the the contract award. I suspect that the wording and the actual contract are misleading otherwise a monitoring manufacture company would have won the contract rather than a consultant.

Newuncle - I think there is more to this contract than obviously meets the eye. If you actually look at who won the contract (LAB & PROCESS INSTRUMENTATION) they are not a water monitoring manufacturing company at all. They are basically a one man band consultancy business run by a guy called Michael Deeney - This all looks a bit odd and not something DVRG would get involved in I suspect

A new float is also coming to market with a planned listing in London called First Tin. Thompson is a director.
It has projects in Germany and Australia, including the 57,000t Taronga project in New South Wales purchased for $34 million, mostly in shares, from ASX-listed Aus Tin Mining (ASX:ANW) last year.
“We’ve got an advanced tin asset in Australia and an advanced tin asset in Germany,” he said.
“And I think they’re going to probably be the next two hard rock tin mines to come to market.

For what its worth I think it is quite significant that Dr Patrick Frankham has now been officially included within the RNS. Up until know he has simply been a name found via a chance Linkedin comment and never officially confirmed. Why would he have ‘come out’ now.

In basic terms Substrate has become the go to development software for building blockchains (relay chains and Parachains) - a blockchain framework and appears to have become pretty well what all new blockchains are based on. The Stellar blockchain network is not substrate based and therefore not truly connected to the substrate-based blockchains on Polkadot or Ethereum- meaning its not connected to DeFi - Pendulum Spacewalk project is sorting that out.

This repository contains the pallets needed to set up spacewalk as well as a standalone chain configured to run and test the spacewalk bridge.

Overview

Spacewalk is a bridge between Substrate-based parachains and Stellar which enables asset transfers to and from Stellar. This grant application is for developing the Spacewalk protocol and pallet. The Spacewalk bridge is built by the team behind the Pendulum network (an upcoming parachain that connects fiat tokens from across multiple blockchain ecosystems).
