In yesterdays announcement Torsten Stuber is scheduled to do a presentation about Pendulum/Spacewalk to the Polkadot decoded conference community June 29/30th but as the ecosystem is democratic each proposed presentation has to be voted for.
Can I ask any holders here to vote.

I am pretty sure under the terms of the Web3 grant spacewalk could not be officially announced until the first milestone was complete so fill completion should now be mid late May - Kasuma auction cannot be far off now.

vas - Its been frustratingly quiet here for the past few months waiting for monetised contract news. There is a huge amount going on in the background and unfortunately the nature of the medical world means everything is a long slow process. Confident everything is moving in the right direction and personally using the ‘lull’ to build on my holding.

Additionally for info on timescales - the spacewalk (stellar/Polkadot bridge) documentation states the estimated timescale at 3 months, divided into 3 monthly milestone periods. The documentation is dated 10th Feb but I am not sure exactly what date the project would deemed to have been started.
However 24 days ago Torsten Stuber noted that the first milestone would be delayed ‘by just a few weeks’ due to some restructuring of the interbtc coding (tech stuff)but expected all other milestones to be within timescale.
So I would be expecting the first milestone to be completed any day now and full completion some tome early late May/early June - which is ahead of my original guestinations.

Ive been going through the Spacewalk project documentation which I wont bore everyone with except a couple of descriptive notes stood out for me. Just for info.

Ecosystem Fit

The Spacewalk bridge is the first bridge between the Stellar network and the Polkadot/Kusama ecosystem, which opens up a flow of stable tokens from the Stellar network into the Polkadot/Kusama ecosystem and, simultaneously, allow any Substrate-based blockchains to implement a direct Stellar bridge.

As part of the Pendulum goal of bringing as much fiat-based token liquidity to the parachain ecosystems, Spacewalk plays a central role. Furthermore, the entire community can benefit from this bridge by innovating on the open source code.

Currently, we are not aware of any projects in the Substrate/Polkadot/Kusama ecosystem that are building a bridge to the Stellar network, but similar bridges are being built for Ethereum layer 2 networks, such as the [Newscrypto](https://bridge.newscrypto.io/) bridge between Polygon and Stellar.

Viera - totally respect your investment strategy and the rational behind it. 0.06 is definitely a reasonable short term target in coming weeks, but of no interest to me as my timescale is over the next 12/24 months and many multiples of that if Pendulum achieve what they set out to do.

Moving on to some more technical speculation following Stellar’s recent announcement about Starbridge (a stellar/Ethereum bridge) they have now announced Project Jump Cannon : Smart contracts on Stellar. Up until now Stellar have avoided Smart contracts almost evangelically quoting the various problems and security concerns (as discussed with Gazzleberry).

Well that has changed as they believe the early teething problems are being eradicated and have effectively admitted they now need them.

On that note a reminder of the original Stellar Grant to develop Pendulum back in June:

Mirasol - on the basis that the CPR has already been underway for six months and the the terminology used in the RNS is in the past tense (‘was’ not ‘has’) do you think it is safe to assume that the results will be much quicker than another 3 months.

Over the course of the initial preparation of the CPR, particularly given the receipt of further positive information in respect of downhole pressures and the continued elevated production figures from Wressle-1, the decision was made to expand the scope of work from a CPR to a wider Reserves and Resources Report prepared in accordance with the Petroleum Resources

We all have our own views concerns and worries. From a personal point of view Blu I dont agree with the views put forward regarding funds so it is not a concern of mine and sleep perfectly well with my holding.

Most important thing here is the UK Government validation of the Microtox PD technology.
