There is something wrong with the CAML share chart over the last 3 months. You can draw a line at 2.20 which the SP refuses to cross. The 200-day MA has now flatlined here as well. The correlation with the price of copper (which is normally quite strong) has been broken, possibly due to this persistent seller. Copper is 10% higher yet the share price is at the same level. Its a concern that when copper retreats it might take the SP down with it...

Wow IPO price was that low? I did not know that. I was thinking the floor would be around the £1.5 mark where I think it started trading. Little uptick now hopefully we've seen the worst of it and it doesn't get to that point

I think the IPO price will offer support but I'm thinking about the long term and where SP will be in 5 years so if it falls back to there I'll be buying more

Why would do that? This is AIM, they don't care about the minority PIs

It's still up over 30% since April. The fact that this company has a negligible free float means tiny volumes will have a large impact on the share price. I spat out my tea when I saw this number. Where has all this revenue been squirreled away? Outrageous. This must be so demoralising for the management of this company

The South African monetary policy committee surprised the market today by reducing the base rate by 0.25% in an effort to try and support the growth outlook. ZAR down 0.75%, here's hoping for further cuts

Hard to tell...Metal prices up across the board and mining companies all given a boost by surprisingly strong GDP from China. Perhaps a bit of a bounce after the sell off from last week. Perhaps positive Lonmin results supported SA miners. ZAR up 1% today. PDL is now a leveraged recovery play (like Kaz) which means exaggerated movements depending on what's happening in the wider market. Hopefully finds support at £1 to build from there

I've taken a beating on this one but am hanging in there looking for some positive news next week on the debt covenants being adjusted (again). The last time this happened the SP received a welcome boost. Mgmt seem optimistic but there is always the possibility that creditors put their foot down and force action, the most likely of which would be a rights issue.

They are getting good at these presentations, its looking pretty flashy these days. I particularly like the part about peak annual cash flow of $226m, although 2025 is a long time to wait

Interesting... so Anglo Pacific sold down most of its 3m shares on the 4th, which seems to explain the volume of 2.2m shares. Very little SP movement and can['t see a large trade anywhere implies that these shares were sold on to some one else and will show up as delayed trade at some point, I wonder who has taken them...

Western Dumps recovery in line with expectations. $41.7m in cash, up from $40m at December 2016. Can't see much happening to the SP for the next couple of months

So looks like Anglo Pacific has been offloading more shares and is 3m down from the last announcement. Capital raisings in which AP did not participate and its sell downs mean that it only owns 8% (down from 16% at its peak). 3m shares seems like a lot given daily volumes, does this mean that they have sold the 3m shares on to somewhere else or sold down over a longer period?

While prices are higher it will be interesting to see whether production can be maintained in the face of the transition to new ore

Agreed. 2017 is now old news and haven't seen this price for a long time so I've topped up. This company has a unique set of high quality assets and it was always going to about 2018. Hoping for a big stone or 2 from the new undiluted ore, this would be reassuring regarding the orebody quality. The new BEE laws are a real problem but as far as I can tell the 26% BEE ownership structure is still intact so hopefully Petra is in a better position than others to swiftly absorb this should it get beyond the legal challenge.

From 2010-2015 33% of uranium transactions were based on the spot price. This increased from 17% in the preceding 5 years (http://www.uraniumparticipation.com/s/Uranium_Market.asp). The spot market proportion has been increasing for various reasons: utilities reluctant to sign up to longer term prices when the differential is so high, limited supply risk, uncertainty around global uranium policy etc etc. Cameco aims to sell 60% at market related prices.

Negative reaction to the AGM trading statement today seems somewhat overdone with results in line with expectations although perhaps some being spooked by the lack of European sales growth.
