Seems to be settling at the 2.80 level without any significant selling pressure. Well done to those who got in at the IPO. At a 2018 PE of 17 the valuation is still not looking particularly challenging but its still AIM and I wonder when those holders up 300% will start taking some profits...

Saw a couple of news items about the results yesterday, probably the first time it hit the mainstream media radar after the IPO. There seems to be abundant growth opportunities (international, e commerce) and its target market is similar to some other high flying AIM stalwarts (Boohoo, ASOS) with some pretty hefty multiples. And it pays a dividend! I have a very small holding which is in the back pocket for a couple of years, IMHO there’s no reason why this couldn’t be another Boohoo and double over that time

A bit confused by the dividend, the annual report says the 5th but generally stocks go ex divi on a Thursday and most of the news sites are reporting ex divi on the 4th. All subject to AGM approval on the 25th Iron ore futures down another 4.5% today so far... panic in the metal markets

How is a company with $17m in cash, generating almost $4m/qtr net cash flow, $20m in EBITDA (soon to be proved recurring) only have a market cap of $36m? Surely it will time for a dividend soon as well?

Iron ore futures up 3 out of the last 4 days with futures and spot both hovering around the $72/tonne mark. Hopefully this is a sign of a new base building...

A 60% increase in earnings is not going to happen. If the gold price remains at today's level the H1 2017 price will match the 2016 average of $1250/oz. The rouble is 15% higher than 2016 which will put pressure on costs. There are a few capital projects in the pipeline over the next few years which require funding and HGM already has $200m of net debt. With current dividends covered less than 2 times and production flat for the next year I see little upside to the dividend over the short term without a profound spike in POG

I think the share price will resume its trend towards £2 when iron ore stops its freefall. Iron ore down 20% since Feb and officially in a bear market. Down again today but FXPO seems to be holding up well. Coking coal prices have shot up since the Queensland storms which should support near term pellet premiums. Anyone know what's happening with Samarco? Seems possible that operations might not resume this year...

On volumes this like I always feel that as a PI I'm missing out on some key information. 12 out of 12 brokers all recommend the stock (and assume they are doing so to their clients), on a consensus price target of 11.5 and the recent trading announcement said that revenue and earnings are ahead of expectations. Yet someone is dumping abnormally large volumes. Something doesn't add up. I've seen companies with 30% profit warnings which have fallen less than this has over the last month. ** Trader at one of the brokers says concerns over RPC's aggressive M&A programme - the company has announced ten deals over the last year - is leading to concerns over organic growth, causing the share price to be "weak and jittery"

The article reflects the negative sentiment around RPC. With no obvious share price catalysts this may come under continued downward pressure for the near future. I've been a long term holder and seen a lot of success from this company but I've decided to take some profits. There is no limit to how damaging irrational sentiment instigated by those with vested interest in failure can be. I'll definitely be ready to get back in once the dust settles, which I hope is sooner rather than later.

Tiny article in the share magazine released today which reverse the previous buy opinion to a sell: "Market sentiment appears to be turning against plastics manufacturing firm RPC after an aggressive period of buying other businesses. We think it is time to give up the shares in fear it may become a target for 'bear raiders'...RPC has already received criticism for falling returns on capital"
