George Frangeskides, Chairman at ALBA, explains why the Pilbara Lithium option ‘was too good to miss’. Watch the video here.
Totally agree.
These late payments are really bad for share sentiment. It looks like we may miss this months payments again!!
I think the company needs to update shareholders on the situation before it manifests into a bigger sell off.
I really have had enough of these shenanigans.
The minute I hit my target price I am off.
I like many others also wish for this to end and to get the just result we all deserve!! However I don’t think this budget agreement, if it gets voted through will achieve that yet. There is the oil and gas law that needs to be concluded and that I believe is not included in this budget agreement.
So maybe a while to wait still. I have been patient for many years do and will hold on till that is resolved.

Good lock opulentla.
My experience with stocks is that they tend to match or pass their original all time high after a collapse in share price and subsequent recovery such as we have here.. Therefore I expect GKP to hit its recent high of £4.00 (not taking account of the recapitalisation) . I don’t however expect much more though.
That’s my opinion and not a ramp.
Good luck to all investors
The mismatch between GKP’s market cap and its reserves, cash in bank and free cash flow going forwards cannot be ignored much longer. In my opinion there will be a massive upside reset in the companies valuation early in 2021. The catalyst for this could be the resumption of dividends paid by GKP and or the start of repayments of outstanding oil payments from the KRG. I also think we will soon hear that the resumption of the drilling campaign will start soon to get us to 55,000 bpd. All in all it could be a great year to be in GKP. However I have said as believed that before and look where we are!!

I don’t recall seeing this article before although it is dated June 10th 2020.
All sounds wonderful if it ever comes to fruition.
If it hasn’t been posted before I think this is a great article to find.
Let’s hope it’s comes about!
I lovd your positivity Surreyscot. I guess it’s the only way we can be at the moment if you are holding long term like me.
I just hope it doesn’t take too long otherwise there won’t be much time left to enjoy cashing in.
I do see positive signals coming out of the negotiations this time and the fact that Barzani is encouraging US oil investment all points to regular and prompt oil payments going forward and some agreement to repay the outstanding dues owed to the oil producers in Kurdistan.
I do also hope to get an update soon on the replacement for Ferrier. I am aware however that a major recruitment firm won the bid for finding a replacement so they must be quite confident they can get a good name for the top job!!
Here’s hoping..
Glad to hear of the resumption of budget payments to Kurdistan. Let’s see when this actually happens and how it affects the overdue payments to the oil companies. I live in hope that relations between Kurdistan and Baghdad normalise again. This can only be good news going forward. Finally could someone tell he BSD or BDSD means as posted by Boyobach or Ranger? Can’t figure it out but then I am not that savvy on abbreviations.

I do hope your right. This share defies logic though.
The main problem is reliable payments from the KRG.
When regular payments started some while ago at £15 million pcm from the KRG this created confidence in Kurdistan Oiler’s. Since then we have had regular full payments up to October 2019. But then the KRG fell back into old ways and over £70 million is owed for oil deliveries from Nov 2019 to February 2020.
These monies need to be paid back and then maybe we will see some confidence return,
We are probably the cheapest E&P on the markets based on our production and reserves but there is a reason for this as explained partially above,
My break even will be £3.00 now after many years of investing and accumulating. Remember I have received one whopping dividend which helped a bit. Never the less this share has been an unmitigated disaster for me and many long term holders over the years. People who say they have traded the pants of this share are either the best traders in the world or bull **** liars.
Best of luck to you. Hope it works out well.
Have been here for over 7 years + and hold enough already. No need to be greedy. Accumulated before only to see the share fall back dramatically. Twice bitten and all that.
Be happy to get back to £2.50 or £3.00 and I am awf!!
Over on ADVFN we have the Oily/Mcfly character and his sidekick Bigdog suggesting big problems with the field?
What are we to make of this and if there is any truth in it should GKP not be concerned about this alleged inside information and countering it? These people are trying to destabilise GKP for there own ends and it needs to be dealt with.
