Well I have made my decision to buy more earlier today and every holder faces the same question, whether to buy, sell or hold. I think you only have to research the competition to see that AVCT is on a unique position. It sounds like our test will be up there with the best or even the best in class. Moreover, we know that we are not far away from having a test ready for use in labs via kit already there. So we even have two bites at the cherry as far as Covid19 is concerned. Then we have all the other things in development and it is easy to see that this could be a life changing share for holders and users of our products.
Finally, you may be thinking that the current price is a bit steep. Just one question, what price will we be at the day following the RNS announcing a successful test and commercialisation? I think I know the answer and that is why I topped up. Just my personal view. Take care all.
I've just re-read the Annual Report for #AVCT @avacta.
I am more confident than ever that Avacta will exceed £1bn mkt cap in the not too distant future.
2020 will be colossal for the Co - I think the share price increase thus far is just the start.
An AIM legend in the making.
Clearly we are holding up very well at the moment. I know we have been expecting news which builds as we approach tomorrow when for sure we will have some.
So if we are to believe that the affirmers have already gone stateside etc what news are we expecting? Obviously, it will all be about the forward looking statement but there could be a separate RNS from the results detailing progress to commercialisation. Either way we are the leaders in our field regarding antigen testing. It will happen for us but talk of £5 is premature at the moment. Let’s take it in steps and a big one will be this afternoon when people start buying in ahead of the results and quite possible a lot more.
I think you will see results of the trial come out early June. My reasoning is that they only need around 20 more subjects across the 6 sites. Say the last one is enrolled by 10 May, they are given a drug for 14 days so that will take us to around 24 May. Then allow a week to study and release the results which means early June.
I think it is highly likely we will have further positive news next week. Perhaps further collaboration announcements being one. So anyone considering buying in and concerned about technicals may want to consider short term news flow that may well blow technicals out the water. Just my personal view.
Just listened to a doctor on LBC. His child has a temp and that means both he and his wife, who is also a doctor, need to stay away from work for 14 days. However, both today were given a test but the results won’t be available for 36 hours. Moreover, they had to drive to a test centre. AVCT will resolve both these issues and there will be a massive take up once it is in production. Current price is still very cheap in my personal view.
James, I have traded in and out over the last few sessions. I have made some money and people will make more. However, the sp is showing signs of turning. All I am saying is be careful, nothing more. Good luck to you and everyone here.
Looks like realism is setting in here. We have seen a good run so far but now there are competitors, FDA is not a given. I would just tread carefully out there and only invest what you can afford to lose if the sp takes a turn for the worse.
That’s a decent lump of SKIN, nice one. Anyone buying today should do very well over the next 12 months. However, it wouldn’t surprise me if someone took us over before then.
