Ok so I said that I would answer the question posed to me about the above subject and here goes.

It has been on my mind for a long time to buy a camper because it affords freedom for when the weather is at its best, what could be better than heading off with no hassle of leaving the hotel before 12 or indeed trying to book one without being taken to the cleaners. Whether it be trip to the Cotswolds, the Lake District or the Gap of Dunloe area or a drive over the Goats Path and onto Sheep's Head.

Waking up in the morning in one of those places to the sound of nature.

It would be a hell of a lot better than investing in a market that seems to be manipulated to the benefit of a few to the loss of many.

Off I go over the hill.

No doubt there are, it just depends on what planet you reside on, son !

Would any one of you care to share why you hold this share and do not just sell out of this misery ?

Are any of you addicted to the status quo hence you stay ?

A lot of scaremongering going on.

The world is a very unsettled place at the moment !

Homelessness is caused by many things, unemployment, affordability, addiction, apathy and lack of responsibility for ones own well being.

However I think that as long as we are cramming our youth into third level educational facilities where pressure is our on every service we will have problems.

Unless we wake up and educate our youth or at least give them the possibility of being educated in the rural areas more shops, pubs, post offices, churches and other rural services will be lost and the issues referred to above wi be exacerbated.

Also there are areas of the country being de populated and houses closed and closing because the brightest and best are leaving to go to the cities.

Wilful waste makes woeful want comes to mind.

Why is it that no politician makes an issue of this ?

Sf are getting a huge vote from the young people and in particular those that see that party as a vehicle for change.

They are not reflecting the past, SF has changed and come a long way and made a lot of good things happen. I refer to peace but I also refer to the protection of a minority when they were abused in every conceivable way by State.

You have to reflect on people like Martin Mc Guinness and how far he travelled but equally reflect on Arlene Forster and how far she has travelled too.

It is only by this slow process of acceptance and dialog that we will find solutions to our historical issues.

Flying flags or banging drums will only serve to make noise but talk will serve to make peace.

So those of you who fly your flag here take good note of that.

When you have over educated and privileged as the ruling class there will be a reaction and we here are seeing it.

When you have the sons and daughters of failed politicians standing for election because they think they have a God given right to serve the people you will have reaction. I'm referring to names like Currie, Andrews, Flanagan, Byrne, Moynihan, Collins etc. and many more.

SF are the only party that haver dedicated enough elected reps that will live on the industrial wage while others drink expensive wine, laugh and eat in Ivy and look out and down on those passing bye.

This might be a transition for Ireland but irrespective it is as venture into the unknown and no one likes change especially the markets.

There was no monopoly on being wrong, all sides were but that is no good to all those including children that lie 6 feet under because of it. No one has a claim to be right or righteous. Why ? Because they were not.

My time is too precious for being interested in this or indeed any share that is most likely manipulated by traders with sophisticated computer programmes that I know nothing about. Gone are the days when you could take the fundamentals and make a good judgement on the future prospects for a company based on those fundamentals. This game is not for the man that does not have the back up and insight that these systems offer.

What I am going to try and do is buy a very good 1995 to 2002 VW Caravelle converted camper (or I will buy one and get it converted) and drive the Atlantic way from Donegal to West Cork over about 4/5 weeks during the Summer. I will bring my bike with me and do places like Ardara, Killary, Kincvara, Doolin, Dingle, Ahakista, Schull, Baltimore etc

It will be change.
