Thanks DS. I like Dan Held, he talks a lot of sense IMO. Although as Albert says, he should really have changed his named to Dan Hodled.
Indeed Herdie.
Looks like we will be fully up and running with ours by Oct.
If Mara and/or Riot miss their deadlines for their big increases they well see some of their investors switch to us.
Indeed Monkfish, think we're on the same page ;)
Suspect you are right that PW has known for a while re the rigs but hasn't shared until he had a solution (that is how I work anyway).
Just very pleased the RNS was 'problem + solution' not just 'problem'.
If anything it gives me greater confidence in the company - anyone can be a CEO when things are going well, the good ones earn their money when the proverbial hits the fan.

I think I have got the same one Gatoula - my 2 year old loves it!
I also have an 'Irresponsibly Long' one which is useful for those days when ARB and/or BTC decide to be naughty.
haha love this thread as a bit of fun.
Nice to feel like a whale for once! - blue whale for me here as well but alas somewhat offset by a gigantic fiat mortgage too.
Swings and roundabouts eh
Monkfish hi
Not quite sure I agree with you. In business it is usual for there for be bumps in the road, it is how we deal with them that sets the winners apart from the also rans.
I problem with the order could have been a major issue for ARB. Without the solution I suspect we would have tanked 30% this morning.
But, and this is the point, not only has PW sorted this quickly, he has got us better machines.
What a deal.
Competitive to market suggests he has managed to get a decent deal to me.
I also suspect other miners might run into similar issues with their growth plans scheduled for early 2022.
If that happens then we really will benefit.
Not sure what you mean by '...give with with one hand and take a bit with other' re news flow? Have you every held shares in a more transparent company? If so pls let me know because I haven't.
Anyway looks like the market is liking it.
ATB for a good day

Yes a problem with a production delay.
But - and this is critical - not only did PW sort this, he did it quickly, got hold of top quality Bitmain S19 and S19J machines and provided the news in a timely fashion.
Yes he is wonderful at PR but below that he gets the job done.
I have said before I have 3 criteria for an investment - leadership, macro and micro. IMHO ARB tocks all 3:
1. leadership - PW operating superbly
2. macro environment -inflation coming fast, insti's on board
3. micro - we are the greenest, Texas Q1 2022, no debt, more than a miner ie Pluto, WonderFi and I suspect more to come
Seriously what is not to like here?
Doesn't a hodl of 1100 (or 1108 to be precise) sound SO much better than 860 or 940 or whatever?
Just getting over the 1000 is psychological IMO.
What strikes me here are:
1. good mining results, margin maintained despite fluctuating BTC price
2. mining rig delay resolution - yes a problem but sorted by PW and team and will be operational by Oct 21.
3. WonderFi (great name) - yet another piece in the wider ARB jigsaw
I think the market will like this. If you sell because there was a production delay that has been sorted then perhaps you do not understand business. I think most investors will get this and see it as good news.
Good days all
RC
Good answers here.
ArgoBull hints at it - some here are forecasting that ARB will start mining ETH from the ePIC deal. To be clear nothing confirmed and we await news of where that partnership takes us.
Re Doge - I would strongly suggest doing research into this before investing.
Personally I will not go anywhere near it but I have heard of people making money. Those that lost tend to keep quiet of course. For me that would be a highly speculative punt - may as well go down the bookies.
BTW if you do find a listed company that has a transparent CEO who leads the space with a green mining vision, is highly connected and forward thinking re blockchain more broadly, is more efficient at mining than its peers and is massively undervalued compared to said peers, please do let me know!

sorry first number is 7.674 BN
A few numbers that interest me...
7.674 - the global population
18.66m - total BTC in circulation as of today (assuming none lost)
767m - the top 10% of the population (who we know like to grow and protect their/our wealth)
1 - token number of BTC per person allowed in this imaginary scenario
0.24% - percentage of the world who would be able to own a BTC assuming it was capped at 1 BTC pp
Or to put it another way - only 2.4% of the world's elite (top 10%) would be able to own a full BTC assuming 1 PP.
And given we know many have been lost, that Michael Saylor owns c. 100k BTC and that other whales own hundreds of thousands, then this 2.4% comes way down below 2%.
2% of the top 10%.
What will happen to the price given laws of supply and demand I wonder?
There might be a bit impatience as well.
I suspect a few retail traders jumped in recently at c 105p and will have made a quick 50% and out.
I believe that the real gains are to be made with a but and hodl strategy but respect everyone’s choice.
KV3MC i know of a few pump and dumpers and have only seen one or two here - £5 end of week brigade.
Equally as dangerous as the 80p gang sometimes.
Hi all

BTC or SP obvs
Indeed Herdie.
I think it is one of the problems when these idiots come along talking super short term TC or SP e.g. drwrong and his $35k next etc.
Who cares about today or tomorrow? We know the long term trend and are in early.
The likes of CC, Albert and Amenensia who added so much to the board just got bored of these idiots I think.
A real shame.
RC
Hey TommyTheDog, good to hear from you, been a while.
Hope all is well

Indeed Deano. The sad thing is he seems to take offence himself to trolls on his own BBs, see this note of his
"Naps,
You're going to have to learn not to respond. I know you're straining at the leash every time, but don't feed the troll. They get bored in the end. Also by replying, you most probably keep the Topic name to the top of the BB which is what they are after any way.
Deep breath my friend."
Bishop, UFO, 24/5/21
Oh the irony.
Maybe time to step away from the screen for a few days Bishop? I am sure you are not like this in real life.
