Ilduce - so exactly what value have I assigned to the value of 80M’s holding in MET1? How have I been misleading? Do tell.

Thank you for presenting the figures, Ashton. I was keen to understand the numbers in detail and am happy to rely on your tally.

According to your summary, 80M has moved from holding an initial 29% stake in MET1—then valued at £3.125m—to now holding 15.52%, which you estimate is worth £5.1m. However, as I’ve noted previously, this valuation is speculative. There is currently no mechanism to determine the actual value that 80M will ultimately realise from its MET1 holding. To suggest otherwise would be misleading.

That said, I appreciate this won't deter your typically optimistic outlook.

Early bird looks like you have missed an update - your claim of no current lock is incorrect. See RNS 31/1/24. Black and white - indeed it is.

CC, your portrayal remains overly optimistic and detached from the realities of the situation. You reference the £2 million figure as if it reflects a meaningful gain—yet it closely mirrors the £3.125 million raised when MET1 first floated. That initial sum, once loudly promoted as a success by rampers, ultimately collapsed to around £156,000—a 95% loss. While there has been some recovery, the current valuation is still a small fraction of what was initially claimed as being a great deal.

This directly supports the point I’ve made previously: 80M has no way to benefit from MET1’s current share price. To describe this as a “cracking deal” is not only misleading, it is unfounded. It is purely speculative. There is no mechanism in place today that translates MET1’s market movements into any tangible value for 80M.

Realistically, MET1 is unlikely to generate significant value in the next 6–7 months. Its Black Schist project has failed to be monetised and it is spending cash (it has recently raised) on acquiring projects that other companies have failed to monetise or have elected not to prospect. Prospecting the new acquisitions will be costly - in that regard MET1 Is starting to resemble Jay / 80M. Even when the time comes for 80M to be in a position to monetise its position in MET1, any disposal would likely depress MET1’s share price further—highlighting the double-edged nature of the situation.

In summary, the value you’re suggesting for 80M is not based on facts or financial fundamentals—it’s based on hope.

Media Coverage – Perhaps Slightly Overstated

While any publicity is generally welcome—especially for something as important as promoting 80M—the term "media blitz" may be a touch generous in this case.

PR Newswire, who are they? Although they serve as a widely used distribution channel for press releases, they are not typically considered a primary source for timely, high-impact financial news or global developments. They certainly don’t compete with Bloomberg or the Financial Times in terms of editorial authority or journalistic reach. 🤣

While each has its own merit, this is hardly the type of content that moves markets or captures the attention of serious investors.

I recently sought the perspective of one of our most bullish contributors regarding the BoD’s ongoing pattern of overly optimistic, frequently unfulfilled statements. Unfortunately, no opinion was offered. I anticipate that some may label this post as "FUD" in a dismissive or unconstructive manner - but I am willing to critically assess the situation and acknowledge where mistakes have been made.

It is my view that the BoD must refrain from issuing statements that appear excessively promotional or unrealistic—particularly those that seem primarily aimed at driving market sentiment (ramping) rather than reflecting solid, verifiable progress. The number of Regulatory News Service (RNS) announcements that have failed to deliver tangible outcomes continues to grow, and this has significantly damaged the BoD’s credibility.

We are now in a situation where even legitimately positive news is met with skepticism or apathy by the market. Recent examples are the lack of share price movement following the announcements related to the Italian court case and the JL drill. I am concerned that forthcoming news regarding drilling at Disko may receive a similarly muted response. It is unlikely that the drilling programme will match the scale originally outlined in the agreement with KoBold, and doubts remain about the reliability of announcements from 80M.

In summary, I believe the BoD has fostered an environment of mistrust. This has eroded investor confidence to the extent that any future developments, however promising, risk being discounted or ignored. Anyone care to express an opposing opinion? Ideally without resorting to name-calling or unproductive accusations of "FUD."

Ashton, thank you for your response. However, I note that it does not address my original query, which specifically requested any updated insights or opinions. I'm already familiar with past developments, so there's no need to reiterate previously published information.

As I’ve outlined before, engaging directly with the Board of Directors is of limited value, given they are the source of the numerous overly optimistic and ultimately unfulfilled RNS statements.

Since you’ve not provided any new perspective, I’ll take it that you have no further insight beyond what is already publicly known.

Your repeated reference to my earlier comment serves no purpose other than to highlight your feigned and selective objection, it adds no value to the discussion. As the matter is entirely unproductive, I agree that it’s best we both move on.

Turning to more pertinent matters: do you have any updated insights or opinions regarding the recent overly optimistic statements made by the 80M Board of Directors?

On February 12th—now three months ago—the company made two notable assertions:

1. "The company expects to provide updates on feedstock and offtake agreements for biofuels in the next 2 to 4 weeks."

To date, no substantive updates have been issued on either front. While there was a subsequent communication noting further delays, there has still been no disclosure of any actual feedstock arrangements or offtake agreements.

2. "Greenswitch believes it is well positioned to receive funding under one or more programmes mentioned below in the coming months."

Given that three months have now passed, this raises questions about what timeframe the Board considers to be "coming months." The phrase suggested an imminent development, but in light of previous delays and missed targets, one could reasonably question whether this is yet another example of optimistic guidance unsupported by meaningful progress.

They have 5-8bn barrels of oil and associated gassess in a 8500sqkm licence that covers thalf of the western seperated north sea onshore part. This is probably their most valuable asset in my opinion

Undervalued compared to other hydrogen, helium plays just by themselves

This is geological hydrogen/helium which is the gold standard in these types of things and considered green unlike other hydrocarbon plays.

Then they have Disko drilling next year with Bill Gates and co.

CC - yep, you're mistaken. But let's revisit this at a time when 80M are able to actually sell some of it's shares and to actually benefit from this questionable rise in MET1's share price. Why would the supposed value of MET1 be "baked in" now? The price now is pretty immaterial - 80M can't benefit, as you well know. Time will tell what value this holds for 80M, you are pinning your hopes on today's MET1 share price - good luck with that. As you say, an awful lot of it is in cash at the moment, and there's a lot of hope recently been piled on the share. The Black Schist project is limping along but now Hammeslahti has wiped up investors enthusiasm - strange that it went nowhere with Jay / 80M don't you think? And that 80M could only get £250k for it and Outokompo? Now I'd of thought such valuable assets would have a long list of big players ready to snap it up - but it appears I am mistaken. Care to have a guess as to why I was wrong?

Great news for 80M - price spike ahead? That's one less thing to worry about..

Just need to

a) buy more than 24%

b) get feedstock

c) start producing

d) find customers

e) start to make a profit

None are a given so Interesting developing time times ahead.

Way to go Ashton. Can't find a flaw in my argument / data / facts so instead write a lengthy piece attempting to discredit me by doing nothing more than to highlight my misunderstanding / error in referencing to white hydrogen as being green hydrogen. Mea culpa - but your post makes you look to be a really sad individual. White, grey, blue or green - I'm sure we all know now what type comes out of the ground. FUD spreader? I've pointed out on multiple occasions that you do not / cannot discredit the many facts and details I've posted, perhaps if you were able to do so it might earn you a bit more credit than just picking fault in occasional mistakes I've made.

So do tell us; when do you expect 80M to monetise all the white hydrogen they have? The BoD have recently told us, in their ever so enthusiastic manner (and you've regurgitated as normal), that white hydrogen (Greenland and Finland) is yet another valuable asset - yawn. Finland was sold off for 0.6% of the value YOU had suggested it was worth (ooops), but 80M got to retain industrial gases. Yippee do! Less than 3 weeks ago you advised CC to look back at an 80M RNS from June 24 to see just how great the BoD were portraying hydrogen / helium to be. As people will know; I've long held the opinion that neither hydrogen nor helium will be monetised by 80M. I've posted extensive reasoning and details to support my opinion.

CC - indeed, “..... there is nothing to suggest White Hydrogen is important to 80M.” That's what I've been saying for ages. It's been a total nonstarter from the moment the BoD jumped on the bandwagon along with almost every other junior mining co. trying it's chance to raise its profile.

A good read for anyone interested in white hydrogen, it's progress and future. Greenland is not mentioned, but Breakthrough Energy and Koloma get a mention.

Your transparency is remarkable: you faithfully regurgitate selective snippets to suit your narrative. "ES said this," "RM said that" — so what? These are the same individuals who repeatedly assured us that Dundas would be rapidly advanced to production; that Thunderstone was a valuable asset set for progress; that Hammaslahti and Outokumpu would be imminently developed... and on and on.

Let's not forget: they recently claimed no fundraise was needed anytime soon — only to conduct one within nine weeks. We were also told that Greenswitch would be generating revenue in Q1, and then that delays were due to feedstock shortages — when the real reason was the plant wasn’t even finished.

The list of missed assurances, failed targets, and shifting excuses is long — and you know it. Yet you choose to selectively present company statements as if they can still be taken at face value. How convenient. How disingenuous.

It’s a good thing there are voices here willing to provide the broader context to your selective ramping — otherwise, some might be misled into thinking the BoD’s word actually carries weight. LOL.

"and turning into the cash cow we know it is" - more hilarious ramps. It's such a great cash cow that HV were able to "buy" it for very little. HV was a none entity apparently set up solely for the acquisition - if this was to be throwing off cash other big co.s would have snapped it up. Actually HV haven't yet paid the money they owe on it and ownership is being decided in the Italian courts, so HV probably doesn't "own" it yet. 80M haven't got past the first 24% purchase so even if it is profitable 80M will be receiving far less money than the rampers portray . The refurbishment (which is still not finished) took over 7 years - an unimaginable length of time to take if the plant was to be throwing of cash as soon as it was completed. BP recently ceased multiple bio fuel projects as demand has crashed / never materialised.
