Jeganator,
Yes, you are actually correct. Forgive me if I made it sound as if I was some sort of billionaire. I am not, and never will be. However, I do own my own home, I do have a small share protfolio, much smaller than most on here, and a small private income.
From what I can tell, and where I live in London, that places me pretty much middle class.
I take you point about cooling off. Agreed. I apologise, thank you for putting it politely and I shall cease and desist after this.
However, my posts may not have been RDSB specific, but assuming you have read the thread that these two are writing, you must understand how dangerous it is beginning to sound? Posts revolving around one mans views against a stock market and global geopolitical climate that really does mean know one knows whats going to happen next. The fixed pillars of investing that used to exist are now variable and unhinged. I made two purchases of RDSB in March at 9:10 & 10 :15 (roughly)
within weeks, this board was alive with talk of a once in a life time opportunity - we may never see those prices again..That sort of stuff. The share price knocked on the door of £15 - and now we are back down in the £9's . I haven't bought again, because its clear that I have as much idea as to what the are price will be in 12 months time as Van Burden does. The point is I understand that and can see it. Thats me, little middle class Rachel who is comfortable because she hasn't played stock markets like blackjack. Actually, she hasn't played blackjack for that matter, because she understands she can't win
And yet - plenty on. here, Turing to boyo as if he is some sort of deity and he is responding with obsequious sickly talk adn people are actually asking him what to do with their money?
I genuinely could not care who filters me. Why should I? It's nothing to do with me.
But, I have mad those decisions in life by taking advice assimilating the information, then following it to its logical conclusion. I have never popped up on LSE and asked someone what to do with my cash?!! They need a financial advisor and a safe haven.
Okay - thats it then. hopefully I have put a little bit back now, and you wont be so cross with me! :0)
