The latest Investing Matters Podcast with Jean Roche, Co-Manager of Schroder UK Mid Cap Investment Trust has just been released. Listen here.
Lancerman - many a true word spoken in jest. When it happened I thought about a scenario like that (forced sell) not as elaborate as your story, but Alexiei being sat at a table being "encouraged" to sign the paperwork.
Its a strange world and big money at stake ... nothing would surprise me.
Great post thought .... waiting for Blackrock's RNS - see what they did in all this.
Any positive news in the sector is going to help us. Reading the article for NY and the proposed $12m per licence, does that mean as we already have a licence for NY (if I remember rightly) if this proceeds we are already worth $12m on that alone if it passes?
LTH holder here, looks like pay day is finally coming, I'll keep topping up at these levels.
Remember when LSE had performance issues - they forced everyone who didn’t have an account to create an account to even be able to read posts. I reckon that was to slow down traffic whilst they sorted out their technical problems - IMO that’s why we have all the new accounts, it’s been discussed in other share boards too.
They got the signatures needed - so once verified should be on the ballot for 2022, however, read towards the bottom of the article, we keep reading in different places that is could still make a special ballot in 2021.
With every country, state, government needing tax income - I'm sure if there was tax revenue in it for California state, they'll find a way to vote on it.
All good for the Webis cause ...

... I hope we relist sooner rather than later ...

What I don't understand is if £170k is the difference between finding a treatment for Covid more quickly, why they didn't simply ask the share holders to stump it up in March / April. For the amount of shares in issue, I'm sure every holder would of stumped up a few quid for the potential riches a treatment could bring and we would be 6 months further down the line. Can't believe we we're held up for a mere £170k, I'm a LTH, and very hopeful, but this doesn't sit right somehow.
"Finally, the Company welcomes the incorporation of the Monchegorsk Development Agency, as announced by Norilsk Nickel on 16 September 2020, established by Monchegorsk's municipal administration and Norilsk Nickel to focus on Business and Investment in the Monchegorsk area, where the Monchetundra project is located."
This says to me that at least the Monchetundra asset is heading into a bigger pot ?
Could it be .... New company gets formed to house the JV, Eurasia "sells" it's assets to the the new co and gets either shares or cash or both in return.
Effectively a sale has taken place (banks get paid) and we get some idea on how much our part is worth.
It may not be to everyone's liking - but is that a scenario that would tick almost everyone's POV box ?
Morning, I did the same, rounded out my ISA at 8:54 this morning - showing as a sell of course - got some way to go to catch you both though in terms of overall holding.
Exciting times, lets get some off take agreements announced, some more drilling on going and all will be good here. The more I read about the demise of fly ash availability, the better for us.
Another extension ... could also add up to a special ballot before 2022 ... everyone needs the tax revenue

Yes, WMH definitely smashing it, I was waiting to get in a few weeks ago and was just waiting for funds to clear which they did today. Still deciding whether too at today's price or not - some say a target of £3.
LTH here too and always planned to top up, which I did this morning. It's not a matter of if, but when we take off (providing we stay alive) Betting in the US will get approved and WMH is showing that their presence there is positively affecting their share price. I reckon other companies wanting in on the US gambling market will be looking to get a jump start by buying a company like Webis. This spikes up quickly when it moves, so I'm not worried about trading it, happy to hold and keep topping up at these levels.
Apologies if this has been posted already (I try to read everything), Jub Capital now officially in liquidation according to companies house .... they got it wrong big style, just like the current bunch of de-rampers ... I’m holding all the way.

Personally I think this is great news, and why not use the recent good news to raise funds more easily. We are at heart an explorer and finding resources is what we do (I've been in a long time when we were looking for diamonds at the north pole - well somewhere close and we could only do it in the summer).
Now we should have a cash cow in Nevada (which I hope we keep and do it ourselves) and we can go exploring again.
I was going to buy more after the appeal period had passed, but will but more in the placing.
Onwards and upwards .. all good imho
.... there are certainly a lot of buys today (and at the time of writing GCM are 2% down) .. maybe the NOMAD is due to be appointed and the people in the know are buying, otherwise why would you risk more with no positive news?
I'm waiting to buy more, but without a NOMAD and the risk of slipping into obscurity by not being public, I will wait and see what happens next week.
