Leapfroggy - good to hear your views on the state of this share and company and your strategy going forward. It appears you also align with Belgrano’s earlier comment regarding that if you had money to invest now, would you look at SBTX or elsewhere? I agree, SBTX as an investment is pure speculation and until the company can issue something that gives potential investors something to base an investment decision on it will remain that way. I also intend to leave my investment (FOMO) but will be out as soon as a decent price is achieved or a takeover/bid takes this out of our hands.
I was fortunate enough to make some money recently on SWC (legacy of being a previous Teathers investor). In a similar vein I’ve invested in BMV - the management are experienced, have a plan and keep shareholders informed and actually stick to timelines!
I don’t doubt Zenakine is a great product but there still isn’t an actual product out there and this continuing reliance on the NDA to keep investors in the dark only serves to create uncertainty. We were continually being told it will be a ‘blockbuster’ but even those posts have dried up!
Finally, if Ashman’s track record is anything to go on, I also share your doubt that they can market the Superdrug products, let’s face it, in the absence of information I’m pretty sure that we will be taking a pretty big hit in margins to get the product on the shelves. Almost five years ago he pulled out of a psoriasis association deal (£1.2m per annum sales) citing loss of margins - if he’d taken it, we’d almost be out of the tie in period now, probably with a good base of sales and repeat orders rather than the pitiful annual sales we’ve seen for Axisbiotix.
Having been an investor in SBTX for around six years now, I’m well versed in the wait for news, it arrives and disappoints but wait for the next news, which invariably disappoints - it’s a rinse and repeat cycle that never quite actually finishes.
