Dohhhh!! Did you mean a spike down? :(
currently in at .59 and i been with Alba since before the welsh mine was even talked about. I preferred the horsehill story but that saga has failed miserably. The UK do gooders at council planning meetings and parish councils have no vision and no one is prepared to put their heads above the pit to give any project in the UK the go ahead anymore in case they disturb a bat or an otter. The whole system is against progress. The locals will not want a pit reopening if it means trucks and noise in their villages.
You keep telling yourself that. I on the other hand will believe it when i see something. All i see at the moment if nowt. If there was any gold left in the mine the locals would have got it out years ago. Oh wait.. they already did and closed it down.
been here a long time. stuck at .59. Nothing ever happens except rambling RNS announcements. Always promising the world and delivering nothing. Horsehill was a disaster but not alba's doing. We hear all the magic about graphite and nothing gets delivered. The welsh gold mine is just a conversation piece over the dinner table. There is a reason the mine closed in the first place. The Pathe video from 1935 on youtube tells me all i need to know. The locals aint going to the let the landscape be dug up to extend the mine. Unfortunately i'm stuck so just have to wait it out until i can get out but its going to be a very very long wait. I really hope GF can prove me wrong
Yawn !!! More waffle
Err no they won’t and even if they did us shareholders will get bugger all. Just stringing us along whilst taking their pay packets every month.
Clogau is worth nowt. Where are the photos of just a few grains or gold? how many months digging?
I've missed these big days. Usually happens once a month but think we missed a couple
Im sure the bats and otters are just an excuse. No locals will want the mine reopening. Always remember there is a reason the mine was abandoned years ago and has produced nothing since. Nothing to do with technology or ecology. Someone doesn't want the mine to be worked. I'm betting more to do with the locals and local Councillors objections. That area of wales probably makes more from tourism than any other industry.
How is this company sooo freaking useless!!!
ha! you were saying??
is going on and please don't blame wider markets
If you think this mine is going to produce anymore than just a few grains of gold then you are totally blinkered. If the gold was still there then why did they shut it down in the first place. The welsh gold is so rare that it has to be mixed with other gold sourced from around the world to even make a bit of jewellery. Even the Pathe video from the 1930s refers to the gold as "extract the minute particles". You think the locals are going to let them dig up the welsh countryside even if they do find anything. That nugget was only sold for 20+ thousand. We need to find alot more nuggets first to even pay the directors wages. I pray ALBA prove me wrong.
but still not a nugget in site.
back to square one after a great boost.
are they doing a fund raise??
anyone know is Sanderson was in charge of the drilling on mars. The sky news article says the rover failed to drill successfully also :)
Will have to be careful gf doesn’t blow the budget this week paying for all these RNS announcements
we seem to get a boost day once a month. Are we due it soon? Any news on the horizon?
bad turn of phrase regarding being rock solid for a "mining" company (i use the term loosely)
