I work in manufacturing. Delivery costs, production costs, shop rental, wages, My point is that for 15p per card (10 for a pound) you have to sell a hell of a lot of cards. Getting 100 people through the door still only makes £100 quid in a small town centre shop. Out of 100 customers less than 5% might want a a balloon or wrapping paper as extra. We bought a thank you teacher card for 15p. Its prime time of the year to maximise profit depending on the card type.
