There are no clumps of gold and never has been. Even the Pathe video on Youtube from 1935 describe the gold as "minute particles". That is why clogau gold has to be mixed with other gold sourced from other mines around the world because there aint enough of it to make full pieces of jewellery. Prove me wrong PLEASE GF!

I always ask myself why was it decommissioned in the first place and why a small minnow like ANGS got it for so cheap when all that was needed was effectively a connection pipe. Same with the likes of Alba. Why was a welsh "gold" mine abandoned? Why has UKOG had to go to turkey. If there is gas there still then why would ANGS sell it before turning the tap rather than doing the hard work and then reaping the rewards longer term especially with current gas prices.

How can they get a realistic value for the company when they haven’t even turned on the taps??

how can they get a valuation without knowing gas recovery qtys? we haven't started pumping yet. Something tells me Mr Lucan is planning to join Mr Sanderson on the beach in Barbados having screwed all loyal shareholders.

currently in at .59 and i been with Alba since before the welsh mine was even talked about. I preferred the horsehill story but that saga has failed miserably. The UK do gooders at council planning meetings and parish councils have no vision and no one is prepared to put their heads above the pit to give any project in the UK the go ahead anymore in case they disturb a bat or an otter. The whole system is against progress. The locals will not want a pit reopening if it means trucks and noise in their villages.
