GreenRoc now on the EU radar after presentation on Amitsoq at the Greenland Business Mission. Watch the interview here.
`\_0_/' who knows. Oncimmune has been a bit quiet but in the few recent RNS there has been nothing but positive news. Just need the right price tag in the Carrott and we are good to go. I am staying in with all investments....blending at around 1.5gbp....
Love the Look and Feel of the new website. The old one was not screaming science or innovation, but had a bit of an antiquated feel. The landing page had old elderly people on it and there is nothing wrong with that but it didn't feel like modern/groundbreaking science.
Results to be expected any time from now u till August 31st indeed. Holding on to my seat.
@Trek - sorry but I am not too familiar with the Grail technology/products and from reading through their website I cannot distill much detail that distinguishes them from Oncimmune. You seem to me to be among the most technical people on this board. I won't pretend to understand the minute detail.
^^ fantastic posts and definitely a lift in sentiment. I am very relieved seeing the root cause of our continuous drop recently being the large seller.
Now that we are heading back into the right direction, hopefully the bottoms has been sealed and the lid taken off.
I think the theory that UBs with its large holding via multiple entities is most certainly going to connect omcimmune into their portfolio.
Regarding takeover, when the money is on the table, decisions can be made very quickly. However, i think that ONC would be better off in the short to mid terms to grow independently and servicing large pharma and other institutions as a service partner rather than being somewhat regarded as a competitor for some of their customer base. E.g. if Roche took over ONC, would a Pfizer still want to give this new Roche acquisition much of their business?
Of course other avenues and opportunities would open up having a big Pharma company backing you.
Thanks for sharing @itsyou. It's kind of refreshing to see that NhS service providers CCL are adopting the Early CDT lung and praising its ease of use, accuracy and efficiency (process and cost).
This is great, especially because Early CDT lung has not yet really come out of its shell.
That's seems like a fair assessment @Flova28. I wonder whether the news about ONC looking into acquisition in that last RNS is actually the cause for the dip. Typically it is the acquiring company that then pays a premium and thus incurs higher debt obligations. The target company to be acquired would usually see a temporary boost. Now all in all it would form part of an exciting growth journey and set the stage for the new phase of growth.
Let's hope that in case an acquisition of a target company is in play we only see temporary dips.
Who knows, perhaps it is priced in and we see the shares spike....at the end of the day acquisitions increase market cap, value and can accelerate growth.
Very keen to learn more about what is on the cards.
Hey people! I know that ONC had completed their FY22 on May 30th. Annual report was due to be reported In September.
Does anyone know whether we will actually see the annual report in September or in January? They mentioned in their most recent RNS, that they are aligning the financial year to the wider market. Audited figures shall be reported at the start of 2023.
A bit of clarity would be nice if anyone knows
I think they need to go back to basics.... take seat belts away, let travellers drink and smoke and employ sexy cabin crew. I think they would be better off than to charge for your M&S water. Yea this SP is not a fan favorite right now.
You need to wait another 20 min. UK investors crap the sheets and struggle with direction. We need the US to pump a bit of cash in and then we are going to be moving in the right direction again....but in all honesty I am scratching my head over this. We are down 3% ....
Folks, I wouldn't get too excited here. Whilst you both might be right with run up to financials or acquisition I think the 10% bump is just market movements. The federal reserve is not indicating a 100bps rate hike but instead most likely 75bps. That incombination with decent results from some of the NA investment banks is softening recession fears to some degree.
I cannot tie this minor bump to anything ONC specific as of yet. Prove me wrong
The world is going back to coal....green parties would rather burn wood in individual households than make use of nuclear power in these times of crisis. Seems to me like BPs bet on renewables is not in line with what the world is consuming at the moment. The world is doomed to slowly die like a cancerous cell. I was sure that BP would emerge string out of the pandemic....but no. Its SP is lagging. Raise the bloody divi you Looneytic
@mararab..... business travel, points system, loyalty benefits, companion voucher, Amex BA card, live in London and BA is convenient. I don't think it's great in comparison to the Asian or Middle Eastern airlines but a whole lot better than many UK or European competitors or even the North American airlines. I tend to get quite cheap tickets as a result of my loyalty, which was not attained with my but my company's money.
We are in the same boat. i am in on ONC for 4 years now. And we are below my original investment. I cannot solely blame ONC though because virtually any market or stock I put money in has tanked this year. In some sectors quite majorly. I am biting on the mouth piece a d trying to get through this collateral damage in one piece. I am ok now with not being able to afford a house because all my stocks are in the ****.....but at least the housing market is at a critical point to so not sure if its a good thing I need to wait 1 year or so to see stocks improve. My hands are tied with ONC. I really hope it goes up.
The fact that there is going to be a delayed earnings and only report on 'audited' numbers in Jan 2023 is also not ideal. But this is all part of the change process. Like Phoenix from the ashes Phoenix (onc) was never dead....it was just burried in a pile of dirt.
All this being said, I believe firmly in the companies ability to deliver results at scale. They are growing and seem to be setting up the structures internally to support that growth.
My frustration is much more related to the current economic situation/cycle and the performance of the SP, not the company ONC. Alistair seems like a top hire and someone that will hopefully not just bring a rich set of relationships but also the experience of transforming a business into a successfully global leader in the space.....at scale.
I am holding but I have no more money and would wish for the trend to reverse, especially on what I consider great news as we have just received in the RNS today. Yes, there is mention of a slowdown in decision making across the Biotech sector, but we know that for 6 months and I would have expected that to have been baked into the already cheap looking SP.
I attribute the lack of news over a full financial quarter to the drop. If the numbers are met for FY22 then I don't think we will drop much further but I find the SP movements here questionable anyways and there always seems to be a reason for it to drop more and more. Sure its a slow burner.... but into the wrong direction unfortunately. It does not help anyone if the company got taken over when SP is at 0.3GBP
