My absolute biggest gripe of this share

3% @ current market cap would be approx £210k, which isn't even half of what was raised, so very much expecting a TR1 for one reason or another - whether it's a new investor or not.

Just checked the website now - shareholder %'s have indeed been updated (reflecting their holding v total shares)

No change to any of their number of actual shares held, unless this will be updated again in due course. Either way somebody has pumped in 500k at bargain prices

Delighted the placing is now out of the way so we can kick on

The shares were meant to go live today - I'm not sure if they have or not? I was expecting an announcement with it - so possible something on Monday?

Good time for people to load up anyways. I would even more, but got holidays to be booking and golf clubs to be buying!

Everyone seems to have the same idea. Even after the last couple days - loads of sells but price definitely bottomed out

Another couple small top up's for me will be coming up shortly, up to approx 70k shares now. Given the placing is out the way I can only see good things coming from now on

100% of the whole 2 trades. Surely a sign it's finally bottomed out and there's very few left actually wanting to sell. Would be good to crack on from here over the next time, not been the best month by all accounts

The perfect scenario would be for HH to take his stake back up to something like 29.9%, would shut a lot of people up imo

I'm half expecting a TR1 to go with the new share issue going live. An increase in holding from any of the key players would bode well

haha I'll stick my neck out and say I'm not on the same level of optimism as you (that would be impossible), however being in oil myself, this just reeks as being a fantastic development opportunity, which looks to be going ahead 95%

The sole downer I got from reading the report was Stefan's wage (£282k!!) which is absolutely bonkers for what he now brings to the table. Hopefully he'll be gone asap (finally see why this is a must), he brings nothing now HH is involved - who'll have far more connected guys to lean on (OO for example is very well connected down that neck of the woods)

It's easy to forget the highlights of the year. It also states 'Field Development Plan ("FDP") for the Turonian Aje gas project approved by the Nigerian Government' which I was oblivious to before. That being approved allows then to plan for further field development knowing it would get the green light - promising stuff.

The biggest drawback from the results was obviously the need for funding, which we now have. One read of the report, knowing that funding is secure, makes for a very promising read. Any further field development would be funded by an institution, as was done for phase 1 ('Project Financing / Debt' that is frequently mentioned).

Fair pleased I cast my eye, gives a good holistic overview of where we're at. Now even more comfortable holding

End of the day all we can go on is official news, anything else is speculation.

Just wish I didn't spend so much time at a desk and it would be easier to just ignore this for a year or so

think you'd be hard pressed to find any country over that neck of the woods that isn't along the same lines. Where we're operating (Nigeria) would be one of the worst, although curious that our new CEO OO was involved in some dispute resolution here years back (and no I know that's nothing to do with his current role)

I'm guessing you somewhat care before you had a rant about how the Saudi humans right record is atrocious (we know and HH is a member of the UAE royal family), and how the Saudi oil industry has a water problem (our investment is in Nigeria conveniently, where the oil sells at a premium, and despite their water issue - Saudi is still one of the top producers of dry crude in the world)

I wasn't expecting anything until we hear on Friday that the new shares have been incorporated and maybe an update on ownership. Even you're beginning to give me a sore head now, chill a bit. Without reading back, I'm sure you were one of the biggest advocates here at one stages...

I’d a thought today that used to get banded about all the time.. how HH has took a stake and named the company after him. Surely to god that shows intent!

Placing was by the book and hopefully a TR1 proves that, with any significant shareholder / CEO buy-in would be the icing on the cake.

Yes it’s been a rough couple weeks but they’ve been getting things in order behind the scenes. I’ve made peace with the fact it’s not been ideal now, and now excited again for whats to come
