Cnooc just announced their asset off Africa just ramped up to 200k barrels per day. While this is way out of the realms for Aje, it shows the potential in the African basins of which we will be targeting

Says here on the vessel specs that it can only process gas for gas lift purposes (Gas lift / gas injection is to assist with lifting the oil through the flowlines to the FPSO itself), with the rest being flared. If they want to export the gas (whihc they do) they'll need a higher spec FPSO

They always said June for the lifting.

I've emailed the company for clarification on Front Puffin. Hopefully they'll be looking to bring in an upgraded FPSO, as it's common knowledge the Front Puffin isn't equipped for Gas production / export - exactly what the partners will be targeting for Aje phases 2 & 3

Cracking bit of work this - definitely sounds like the June offtake. Often get a business update alongside them so looking forward to that!

Quite annoying how the brokers aren't quite as on the ball as they could have been. Imagine all this changes were resolved and good to go from the bell at 8!

Not that it matters for me as I'm here for the long run, but still expected more.. Roll on them getting their act together and seeing where it goes once everybody can trade once again

Think everybody knows how good this is and is holding tight - nobody wants to sell given the potential upside on this one

Personally I think there's more to it than that - this'll be big news and raise awareness to others who aren't yet involved

Interesting to know that the second largest shareholder has less than 7% compared to the Sheikhs holding of just under 30%.

Whatever he says will go - this is despite what people were muttering regarding him maybe clashing with the board. There's no way even if they clubbed together would they have the voting rights to compete with the man himself.

Also nice to see well publicized the fact that planning for phase 2 of AJE is well underway

I think it also goes to show that they're on the ball, often things like this are a bit of an afterthought. A cracking platform to present information to investors and the likes

There's no way they'll just be banking on the AJE development, I can see them quickly getting 3-4 different developments on the go (through acquisitions or otherwise), which will allow for a more sustainable base to grow from.

As for a price to slice at, I've not really gave it much thought. I'm in a fortunate position that I'm happy to let my investment sit for the medium term and see where it goes. I see far less risk here than trying to play the AIM game and get burned.

The fundamentals here are very strong, so looking forward to sitting tight and see what the sheikhs plans are. I think it's a given that he'll want high-impact developments - he's not here for just a few thousand barrels a day for the new few years - that's for sure

A confirmed development plan for phase two of AJE (which all the partners continue to say will definitely be happening) along with a couple other high impact announcements and this'll be well clear of £1

With all this meeting excitement, it's easy to forget that we're due an oil lifting this month, which tends to come along with a business update..

Resolutions 2, 3 and 4 not passed. This is excellent news for you guys. Looks like the Sheikh has blocked the issuance of any further shares for working capital and management incentives. It does suggest to me the incumbent management are about to be booted out and the company overtaken by the Sheikh and his team.
