As many of you will know I’ve been here for a very long time and have been positive. Although a very disappointing set of results I’m now wondering if we’ve bitten off more than we can chew at least in the short term. The buying outright of both Telfer/Hav was a massive step to get right and was always going to be fraught with danger and set back. SD has his work cut out in my view and I hope he can pull it off in good time. Hav needs to brought forward in my mind ASAP to bolster what is left of Telfer resource low grade. Newmont aren’t daft and would have known of the issues in getting this over the line. Only hope that SD has a plan that will work in the short term and that the quarter reads better than this one.
