Gordon Stein, CFO of CleanTech Lithium, explains why CTL acquired the 23 Laguna Verde licenses. Watch the video here.
Skid, what a life you must lead eh, working 24/7 for a death spiral financier, de-ramping a stock continually that you have no interest in. Does it please you to see people lose money so that you can line your employers pockets? Time for a little soul searching on your part imo. But do you have a conscience? Better things to do myself, be happy! Filtered. Bye!
Sorry been away and catching up. FTH I have voted yes to all resolutions here. Yes they are holding back until this is a done deal imo. I think the government is too re grants. Nothing for AMTE and loads for others. Makes no sense.
Sodium-ion batteries are gaining traction thanks to a ‘game-changing’ new partnership: ‘The battery of the future’
Lithium EV batteries are currently favored in part due to their high energy density — basically, more stored-up power per pound. Yet purified lithium is also expensive and subject to supply and price fluctuations.
Also, although the impacts of extracting lithium are considerably lower than for oil and gas, mining lithium does have environmental costs.
Enter the sodium-ion battery. Sodium is cheaper than lithium and widely available. Sodium batteries don’t have the energy density of lithium ones, but they work better in cold temperatures and can likely handle more charge/discharge cycles, per CleanTechnica. Plus, processing sodium for batteries has the potential to be more environmentally friendly, though this is still being developed.

I agree Dunk, much more to come regarding applications in Powerwalls, Solar, Mobile applications, remote locations, developing countries and, of course, on grid power storage of excess power in battery farms.
I am voting yes this morning to all resolutions. atb
My thoughts too mate. Don't ever sell your stack here imho.
Ya got me there Horis. But it's good to look at all the options. Maybe this could be their big chance to redeem themselves?
What do you think of this for a plan :-
AMTE + T****A + BRITISHVOLT UK SITE FOR SODIUM ION BATTERIES + NEW TEXAS US SITE FOR SODIUM ION BATTERIES
Just SPITBALLING but US needs it's own production when this tech takes off???
They are too quite regarding Sodium Ion tech Horis, the rest of the world is going for it, they are up to something imo. We will see shortly.
Chart BUY signal today for AMTE according to this site:-

3) The UK Government has a cunning plan for Sodium Ion battery investment that it is yet to announce.
I think option 3 is the one.
I think AMTE is part of a greater picture to be revealed after AMTE GM next week.
The UK cannot miss the sodium ion opportunity imo, too much is at stake.
The EV manufacturers know this and will be planning to incorporate the tech into their EVS.
They cannot and will not miss it.
I was playing devils advocate.
As I see it Horis, there are three options here to think on over your dinner:-
1) The UK Government is incompetent.
2) The UK Government is corrupt.
3) The UK Government has a cunning plan for Sodium Ion battery investment that it is yet to announce.
Which is it? Admittedly option 1 and 2 could be bundled together!
The government seems overly keen on supporting Indian, Japanese and Chinese interests above the UKs. I wonder why?
What have they not told us yet? If no support is available I will be gobsmacked to be honest!
"Any deals to attract investment from OEMs to manufacture components or vehicles in the UK would likely follow the mould of this year’s agreements with India’s Tata Motors and Japan’s Nissan. In both cases, the government is reported to be paying the firm’s substantial amounts in subsidies to support UK EV manufacturing. The government, however, has not commented on any subsidy payments to the automakers.
The wider automotive industry is set to receive up to £2bn from the advanced manufacturing plan, but the specific allocation of this funding has not been announced."
The article below shows why AMTE is looking to stretch its legs across the pond from Monday for some of that US funding imo. It is a good article.
The UK Government appears to be not fit for purpose and, at this rate, is going to lose the countries head start in the Sodium Ion EV Battery market.
There has been, as yet, no mention of any support at all for AMTE but plenty for other areas. This is very strange considering the fact that they have always referred to AMTE in the past glowingly, using their experience and knowledge directly input into their newly launched manufacturing and EV battery plan.
Looking forward to next week and a fresh start at AMTE! :-

Bit of a Norfolk George Soros then eh. I can picture him now, towering over his prize winning pumpkins with an evil grin on his chops!
So Pumpkin is a real mover and shaker after all eh, who'd have thunk it! Shows there good money in Pumpkin farming for them to be golfing with the elite. Ever considered a bid yourself Pumpkin? You must have a spare field available for a gigafactory eh?
Pumpkin you have gone too far yet again. We don't need to know about your golfing buddies. Keep it to AMTE facts. Think before you post!
Because he fancies fine dining on genuine Norfolk pumpkin pie, not that tasteless yankee stuff they chug down their throats. Obvious surely?
