The Tesla links are becoming more obvious here. Patents and IP are what they are after imo. And it is not just batteries here either, do no underestimate their novel electric motor with its 20% longer range. This allows for smaller batteries with the same range. The motor also simplifies complexity, removes single point of failure and saves weight and cost. Anyone that has not yet seen the youtube presentation must do so:-

Hard Carbon anodes for both Sodium Ion and Lithium chemistry with a green emphasis and plans for gigafactory production and/or for licensing this technology to partners. Avoiding 10% tariffs on foreign sourced battery material. There is much to like here.

This patent info is very important. It is why the Tesla guys have been parachuted in.
