Agreed twogoals, my assertion is that I am not sure that any major will want to buy it at that stage, as we would demand a premium at an already inflated market place by 2020. Because of the copper crunch, hence I believe that we will go to production, possibly with Newcrest. This is only my opinion, however should we fund raise with no further dilution or shares are offered to a developer, say Newcrest, than I believe my scenario is more likely.

In order to sell Cascabel or any other tenament, I would suggest the following criteria. Don't sell before there is a world copper shortage, thus increasing current value. Probably around 2020. Continue proving up mine to grow resource statement. PEA and raise capital to start build. This is what will move the share price. Yes a bid will also move it, but not drill results, as already priced in. As NM said the right offer would mean that Cascabel or Solg would be sold in it's entirety. The reason I don't think this will happen is two fold. Firstly it would have happened by now, why let this increase in value and not get an early buy out. Secondly the market is not buoyant enough for a large bid. Will be when we have the much reported copper shortage, but by then will be further down the road with developing this site, that the bid would have to be massive. Hence why I think we will become miner.

Don't think we are going to sell Cascabel, reading the RNS's I would suggest that a partner to develop Cascabel is the way forward. Have thought this for some time. I think this is why Newcrest is involved. As much as the Newcrest buy in, is defensive and protects Solg from an early sale. Who better to partner and develop this site.

If someone buys 100% of cornerstone, Solgold still retains its rights to purchase.

I would recommend any large organisation that has a reputation to lose. Hargreaves is OK, I am not with the cheapest, but I get fast access and that's important to me. I am with lloyds tsb self select isa, although they farm this out.

Sounds like our strategy is similar. I convert about 80% of sell price into dividend yielding stocks. Then reinvest in more speculative stocks like Solgold. This time I will convert 100% to ftse 350 stocks and retire whatever the outcome. Goodnight DG1Investor.

Hello DG1Investor, no I am a technical analyst in IT. I used to be a broker in my 20's. I invested in Oil and Gas when their was a degree of movement in the market, late 80's early 90's. Made money in BP, Rockhopper and Fortune Oil in recent years. Even made money in desire petroleum. (got out of that before it went belly up more by luck than judgement).Needed money to get into Vodafone. I think Solgold has a good future, this will probably be my last aim investment (it was in aim when I got in). But if people just read between the lines, this is a four to five year play. Yes we may get an offer early on. But I for one want to see this play out.

Investors don't be have that way, someone who sells on the advice of a chat room is not an investor, just someone who has read a book or two and thinks they know it all and can get rich quick. Experience is everything.

Only thing that you have said that was correct is that you were around when I brought in. You were saying what a great price 8 pence was. I posted my buys in real time so that they showed up on level 2 about a minute later, to prove to people like you that I was genuine. I am averaged at 3.6 pence. Didn't buy any at below 2p because funding had not been sorted. Currently hold nearly 2 million shares, so can walk away with a healthy profit,as all in an ISA. I have no issues with anyone on this chat, but really tire of all the personal attacks on people, by fantasists who think various people have an agenda. No body would invest or sell shares, because someone in chat says so. That's ridiculous.

Earthling you are clueless, MRE priced in is not bashing, you were offensive when I first sought info on this site. I am surprised anyone new posts, as people who encounter you are accused of all sorts of things. Besides if you knew anything about valuing a company, you would realise that the future MRE is priced in, unless it doubles or trebles. If I had taken your advice, I would have paid more than double for the shares I hold today. A little more thought and a little less insulting of investors would go a long way.

Don't believe updated MRE is going to shift price, as we have an idea of what's around the corner, so already priced in. We require the feasibility study, as this will allow the first costings, as opposed to what's in the ground and thus allow an informed valuation.

Please can we stop all this ramping/deramping nonsense. This applies to news updates or articles reported. People just have opinions. Let them be.

You sir are a fraud. You are someone who has read a book or two and think you can bluff. I was a commodities broker in my twenties. I don't even believe you or Thomas are invested. When I first came on this forum, I was unconvinced, but slowly looked into this company and I am happy with my level of exposure. If you really believe the rubbish you sprout, I suggest you ring up a major newspaper and report Solgold for withholding price sensitive information. You then can inform this forum, which newspaper is investigating Solgold, so that we can all read the story. I won't be holding my breath.
