Montecristo I have kept it simple for you. I will try to tell you what we know so far, in my own words so that I don't confuse with being to technical. Covid 19 has something called a proofreading enzyme called exonuclease, which removes the modified RNA components and allows copying to continue. Many of the RdRP inhibitors have no effect on Corona virus. This is our first problem. Basically it has built in CRC ( Cyclic redundancy checking ) to check copies of the virus are correct. What scientists are currently looking at is the incubation period, which can be up to 14 days before it triggers our immune system. That's the main problem, as this virus takes hold before our immune responds. ABSOLUTLY NOTHING TO DO WITH THE CHINESE PEOPLE.

It does not create the conditions for mutation. Firstly most viruses are chains of ribonucleic acid, known as RNA. So as viruses take over cells they replicate unlike DNA that has two strands of RNA. I must admit I had no idea that keeping animals in cages alters that biological function. Could you please point me to a pier reviewed study that states what you are saying.

Montecristo yes it leads to cross contamination, as so does many forms of contact, but it does not cause a mutation that has lead to COVID 19, which is what you are saying.

What has eating wild animals got to do with mutations of viruses, this happens in Africa as well as many other countries around the world. Yes health issues exist around eating wild meat and some fish. However nothing to do with the mutations of viruses. For crying out loud, just read something about evolution. You are another person who doesn't understand what a fact is, either read my previous posts, or get a dictionary. Nothing you have said is factual. Good morning Montecristo, That's ridiculous. I was a technical analyst for 29 years. Not in finance. As an investor you should know better than to call out conditions in China. Think about it, Viruses have been about long before us, in Fact they form part of all life. If a mutation was to take place, than it is statistically likely that it will take place in a region of high population, living in close proximity of each other, so that its survival rate is higher. That's simply how viruses spread. China is the most populous nation on the planet. Think about HN51 and previous viruses. The Chinese have been magnificent in their approach to containing viruses. This was always going to happen one day, and while I agree we should not panic, we need to take this seriously. This is nothing to do with people, who through no fault of their own, live in levels of poverty that we would all find unacceptable. I would appeal to anyone who posts anything about Corona virus online, to consider two things. 1st remember your humanity for your fellow human beings, and in that check your facts before posting. Secondly, and this especially applies to Columbo, Have some empathy for people who do not have the level of resources we have, and must be frightened for their family and friends, and through no thought of there own, live in some of the poorest regions in the world. This doesn't only apply to China.

However I an guessing the options are go for gold, or more likely prove this up. All going to take time, but pleased Alpala progressing. I dare say we will get more detail after the PFS. Partrytime, all information is not accurate, including what I post, as it's opinion not fact. Look at the many diverging opinions on this forum. Copper pot broadly agrees with my outlook. Addicknt and ColonelDrake disagree with my outlook, all are worth reading, as our thinking is explained, why we think what we think. I look forward to all posting on here. Ok there exceptions. But every now and again someone will post something, and off I go looking for information to support and disagree with said poster. This is only a part of investment. Most of it is going through figures, looking at track records of the individuals involved, over time you will develop your own strategy.

Partrytime, stop getting frustrated. It's a bulletin board, it offers opinion, not the information in the timeframe that you want. Many free sites out their, but not all will offer all info you want. You can pay for some, but I personally do not, as I can get everything for free with a 20 minute delay. Maybe day traders want something more. By the way investing is never a level playing field. Partrytime, just relax and enjoy the ride. They will buy on the open market. I think they are looking at the various options they have, which some are higher than 46 pence, where we peaked. This is great news, and as you are relatively new to investment, as quoted in your posting history. A great learning exercise, if you followed previous developments, and watch the future. Good morning cookie, unsure why it takes LSE so long. As all they need is a script, that can interrogate where companies hold their RNS data, do a view on title date and time, do a compare of last data, and display the difference, with title, date and time displayed. Lastly need a check to run a diff on a second variable to see if area where data resides has changed, and if so, do a quick manual check and update script. All this stuff can be easily automated. Say run it in Cron at hourly intervals
