addicknt, we own it when it's built. At the moment it's owned by ENSA. We have deadlines to meet, and if the license expires before we get the studies out, we lose it, and if we fail to build it, in the required time, again the license expires and we lose it.

Sorry Schlemiel, building a mine isn't complex. Designing a system to map the oceans seabed, building a system to map the universe in a state of constant flux. Biometrics, and DNA sequencing designs. But not building a mine. Building a mine is a standard high level design, where changes to the standard design, would be in the incorporated low level design. It is not rocket science. I don't know why people pretend it is. Maybe it suits their agenda.

Hi rcgl2, sure NCM expertise has been discussed, and dare say, they may have a team, capable of producing high level, and low level design documents. I would guess the rest are hired in, when they build. Solgold can do the same. we just require the right people, who are on the open market.

I agree Colonel, excellent post Iceberg, as I have said on a couple occasions, how Solgold would build this. They would hire the key individuals, they would hire their teams and then they would hire the engineers, and build this mine, the same as any mine is built.

Hi rcgl2, I hoped no one would ask that question, as I can only confirm my understanding. This stands on a technicality of ENSA.
Here we go.
Currently Solgold and CGP, do not own Alpala, they own a share in ENSA.
When the mine is built, and in production, ENSA is dissolved and all governance and permits pass to the holders and respective percentages of ENSA.
Hence, the governance is under ENSA, and anyone buying Solgold, would I understand pick up the permits, but would have to change their company governance, to comply with ENSA.
It's not straight forward, and time and cost involved.

Correct if Barrick brought Solgold, they could not build it as fast. It's not about money resources and expertise. It's about governance and the delays that would happen. We don't just get a license and build it. It's the inspection regime that happens, and what's been agreed, and no this doesn't all carry across, if Solgold is brought.

Hi Stocky, the deal is signed, no backing out. They can be reduced to 0.5% of NSR, if the agreed money is paid back, by a certain date.

It was months ago, So this is why it's important to listen to as many as you can. This is about governance. Solgold had to change it's internal procedures, that would be applied across the whole company, as this was one of the restrictions, stopping us getting the water permits for ENSA. Any company first would have to delay Alpala, while a hostile takeover occurred. It would have to meet the governance of ENSA. The clock is ticking. The person representing Ecuador's government in mining, agreed on the webinar, that no one can build this faster than Solgold. Things are going as fast as they can, because of the trust, that has been built, between the two parties.

Sorry Zoros, that last statement is just not based on fact, and again not listening. There a webinar, where NM and a representative from Ecuador's mining industry, addressed concerns issues over licensing, and the future of mining in Ecuador. On that webinar, this was covered. No one can build this faster than Solgold. Because of all the point I and others have made. NM even explained why no one can build this faster than Solgold.

Schlemiel, why are you invested? Surely if you think Solgold is lying about taking this to production, and that Ecuador is a banana Republic, that's going to rob, every company that invests in the country. You would have to be nuts, to hold shares in Solgold, and then say I am invested for a takeover. If BHP said, hold on chaps, this Ecuador government is risky. Why would anyone bid. I cannot believe you would invest under your own criteria.

Schlemiel, I am guessing, I have done more research, on the government system in Ecuador than most. Ecuador, is and has been for some time, a high level functioning democracy. It has two parties, that are in close contention for February 2021 election. Moreno is the incumbent, that has brought in the present mining reforms. The opposition, have not declared s position on mining, but are to the right of Moreno's government, and hold a pro investment and are pro business growth, for Ecuador. please tell me, what bit, I am not understanding, and I will do my best, to give you a full answer.

When October 15th comes and goes, and BHP don't bid for cornerstone, and it appears that they don't have the backing of anyone, for this EGM, that hasn't been set a date, no agenda and no alternative BOD. What is going to happen to the CGP share price, and what will happen to the Solgold share price.
