Yes the drop off in bad weather is harsh, can be only 20% but if you have enough storage and ten times the panels required, you will never be without power, even if its overcast for 365 days a year.

Battery storage is a mere fraction in cost compared to what it used to be.

Also you can scale as you build your mine.

Today you can size installations that have enough storage, and you just put enough panels in to generate ten times what you require.

I would cover my whole house in solar panels in order to export more, however the grid will not give me a licence to export more than 5KW.

The USA is now desperate to get a deal with China.

It has to back down.

China leaves the world with a bigger problem, as they are threatening every country on trade.

The UK has been threatened on sanctions applied for China importing Russian oil.

This may not sound much, but unless China starts to become an intergrated part of the world, we will see them support Russia, with a aim on invading Taiwan.

What people don't understand about rare earth minerals is that they are not rare, they are everywhere.

However mining them is often an afterthought, as they are found within other mineral deposits.
