Again the sensible posters could see the world markets cooling and at some point debt consolidation will be required by some countries.
As for the copper price I have no idea, only to say the downward pressure is still apparent.

All these things suppress economic activity and are here for some time yet.

BHP's cooperate statement is they want assets on the cheap.
Hence friendly bids. As a hostile bid increases what's paid.
Unless BHP changes its stance, we will not get a hostile bid from them.

Hence a hostile bid is what will be required if a bidder is going to be successful. I have covered this over 20 times.

Agreed DBW, but my point has been to point out why this cannot happen while the book remains so diverse. Also we have used Citi to protect us from low bids and the Franco Nevada offtake agreement was inspired to say the least.

This does not exclude going to production.
Many on here think one excludes the other it doesn't.
NM has clearly said we proceed towards production unless we get an offer which represents value.

Bozi you may well be correct. I just don't see anything that has changed, apart from the normal media speculation that has always existed around Solgold.
I agree finance is required at sometime.
The interesting thing I read in the DGR announcement was Tandy looks to be open pit.
People has speculated and the company has postured. But this now looks to be the course of action.
