DBW apart from our differences on Slug, you used to be a good poster.
Today you have stopped listening to what Solgold says and you listen to everyone else. What CGP and DGR do is their concern. You may argue that it is relevant to us. But it's really not unless they sell their holdings to one party or BHP or NCM, as the book then remains just as diverse.
Listen to what the company we are invested in says.

Good morning Gino, I have some thoughts on the matter of the recent questions put to BHP and NCM.
Why would BHP and NCM want to help take cascabel to production without raising their relevant stakes they hold in Solgold. ( they wouldn't ).
So the fact we will fund this is going to cause friction.
But that's a really good thing. Shareholders will understand that Solgold is in charge of it's destiny. Not BHP as addicknt thinks.
We are going to production. The next step is the DFS.
One step at a time. We have completed the PFS and you can bet we are already talking to Civil engineering companies to construct Alpala. They too will have feedback for our PFS .
We are doing fine.

SharketMare your comment is a non comment. Why does that matter. NCM have said they would like too add more to their current stake. What has the stake they hold today got to do with anything. NCM are not selling. But everybody who watches the Solgold story knows that.

Shipright that is not what NCM have said. They want a share in Alpala and other tenements. They are thinking long term. Sure they will sell for above full value, but nobody is going to offer that.
That is the diverse book in action.
This is why we in all probability go to production, that is the way to obtain value for Solgold.

Agreed Addicknt, but to be fair, NCM have always taken the position, that they are not sellers either, and their plan is to add if possible to their current holding.

A CEO has an open mind and no matter how many times they are wrong end up doing the right thing. You don't.

If their was a failed funding deal, what was it's terms. Should be easy for an ex CEO to find.
After all according to you it failed and so must have failed on the specifics.
The reason you won't find it, is it was just a conversation and no deal was put forward to fail.

LunchMoney I accept the 10% figure that you put up, unsure why Solgold included this.
This is the annualized figure.
NCM and BHP can't vote against it if Solgold don't include it next year. Then the default is 20%.
I think the interesting point is NM.
As someone said if he was voted off as a NED.
He could do a deal between Tenstar, DGR and himself and get reappointed as a director under the 10% rule.
So I don't see NM going anywhere.

No deal was submitted, so it cannot have failed.
We had conversations on the structure of a deal and although not named, it was BHP and NCM that disagreed.
We don't know what the proposal was as we never went ahead. ( so no deal even attempted ).

We are currently putting together another structure and I will guess it will be something that doesn't require shareholder approval.

I was stating what the regulations are and what we can do.
It makes no difference what has been agreed.
For example if nothing is agreed next AGM then it's 20%.
It's on an annualized basis.
I just posted this to try to stop all the rubbish about Solgold can't raise money and BHP are calling the shots.

This is just one way we can raise cash without shareholder approval, there are others.
We Solgold investors are in charge of our own destiny, not BHP or anyone else.

Any full listed company can raise up to 20%, if AIM it's 5% looks like Solgold have limited itself to 10%, so unsure if that can be extended.

Addicknt completely wrong, we didn't cash raise, we tested. Therefore we never failed, stop trying to rewrite history.

Quite possible smickster, the point is we can raise the money for DFS and BFS. We have had no failed fund raise. ( that has been confirmed now )
Also we can fund the construction of Alpala.

The strange thing here is Redknight was supposed to be something in cooperate finance, and he knows nothing about how money is raised apart from searches on google.
I worked him out ages ago.

Jezzoo that's the way you raise cash for exploration.
When you have a fully proved up prospect that you are ready to finance, then funding methods change.
This is really basic knowledge, which you and so many of my detractors remain uninformed about.
