Wish you would post more DartFrog, I always read your posts with interest along with rcgl2 and Bozi and Copperpot.
I do believe we will become a producer as I have always stated that is the most probable outcome.
I see a buyout as less likely as although NCM and BHP can retain their percentage stakes, we have more parties involved since 2015 hence making the book more diverse and a consultative bid almost impossible.
We both know what happens if we receive a hostile bid, so not worried either way.

Thank you Jerry informative post but wrong conclusion. NCM know they cannot own Solgold. But they are not selling their stake and want to add to it. We are going to production owned by many. It's called a diverse book.
Every few months for the past 9 years, we are told on this forum that a bid is imminent. People are now saying before Christmas. They were wrong many times over the years and are wrong again.
What is so blatantly obvious, is They are wrong every single time for the same reasons over the years. But their own world view and in some cases desperation blinds them.

Lunchmoney companies talk about finances all the time.
Until a fund raise is put to the market and share holders are informed, no fund raise has taken place.
Otherwise that means every company has failed fund raises all the time.
That's just nonsense.

Companies do not give details of discussions about raising funds ( this is what happened here )

If a company attempts a fund raise , then at the point it puts a fund raise to the market, we as share holders get the details. We then see if it fails or succeeds and at that point we get a second statement.
You will understand that when Solgold fund raises later on this year.

Let's just wait and see who's correct.

As far as I can find is a discussion was held and at that stage, they decided to rethink and not go ahead.
That is not a failed fund raise, as we didn't attempt one.

Sorry Bozi I missed your 16.11 post last night.
I believe like you a fund raise is soon on the cards to get us to DFS. I hope it will be minimal. ( it will not be a failed fund raise )
However you ask about what happens after we get the DFS.
I don't know, but I will express my opinion.

Darryl tells us that after the DFS funding opportunities open up for us.
I guess this means we have options.
I would like to think along with Solgolds statements of minimal dilution, this is going to be mostly in the form of loans.
We of course will have to stump up some capital to get good terms.
That is where I believe a larger offtake agreement would give us the necessary stake.
So we proceed to production as the offtake makes us less attractive to bids .
And we have the finance and the expertise from the civil engineering operation we employ.
Hopefully we at some stage issue bonds once we are in production, and pay back our loans quicker and start paying dividends.

It's a whinging statement, and gives no details of any fund raise.
On further investigation I found that I could not find any detail of a fund raise and neither has anyone else.
So what we know is a discussion was held and no fund raise took part.
That's not a failed fund raise. That's a non fund raise.

SharketMare I invested in oil and gas for decades. I know exactly how fund raises work. This was a discussion as a prelude to a fund raise. When we get the fund raise it will be judged if its a success by the take up and that will be announced.

Addicknt a failed fundraise would mean we get a statement or RNS about what the uptake was say fell below 100%.
Can you tell me what the percentage take up was, or is it the fact that no fund raise took part and it was only a discussion.
