Addicknt if a fund raise was attempted, can you post the initial statement and it's terms.

SharketMare when we raise funds in the near future you will see the process. There will be an announcement, those invited will be asked to participate and it will be announced what the take up was.
We had discussions with our major shareholders. The reason we know no raise was attempted was we didn't even get the initial announcement. People are just trying to make a non story into something it's not.

Oh dear SharketMare, they didn't fail to raise, as no raise was announced. I really thought we put this to bed. As Bozi says expect a raise in the next few weeks maybe months. You will see it goes smoothly. Dare say it will be equity, but how much is the interesting part.

ColonelDrake what are you on about NCM and BHP are not trying to push us into a corner.

This is how a market works. Our share price is suffering because of low volume. Everyone is just waiting to hear the next piece of news.
Look at the wider market. Are you telling me BHP and NCM are manipulating that as well.

SharketMare, I don't see NCM or BHP selling up. I believe they both want a bigger percentage.
Although a year old story, NCM have said they are not selling their stake and want to add more. BHP haven't stated their position directly. But they would like more.
I know you don't credit the diverse book. But we are seeing it in action, as Solgold are running the show. Not NCM or BHP. And to my mind we have NM to thank for that.

Bozi take no notice of ColonelDrake, he has constantly been wrong on everything about Solgold. He is always saying we will get a buyout and expressing some convoluted reason why.
He always turns out to be wrong.
The sad thing is he has no idea why he is consistently wrong.

In broad agreement Bozi and I take your point about not using offtake at this stage and would possibly play a part in the construction phase.
But I also see offtake as part of our defence in two areas.
The first being that it makes a bid less likely.
The second is that it shows confidence that Solgold can go it alone, as no payout on any offtake agreement until we are producing.

Good morning Bozi, I for one am hoping if it is an equity raise, then it's a small one, for a small amount of exploring, but to get Cascabel to DFS. Then we can get the funds in place along with the BFS to exploit what we have. This would not primarily be equity, but feel it would be a mixture of equity, loans, bonds and offtake. With the equity part being minimal.
But who knows maybe an offtake agreement to get us to BFS with no equity raise.

Addicknt I sometimes doubt who you are, when we have had fund raising in the past we have had announcements of the fund raise and it's terms. This is even before it took place. So yes a proposed fund raise we would have the details. The reason we don't have the details is because no fund raise was announced. As an ex CEO you should at least know that much.

But I will admit I am wrong. Just post the details of the failed fund raise. I am not even asking for how the fund raise was put to the market, just the proposal.

Good grief take no notice of davethehorse we are funded to the end of the year, and we have not had a failed fund raise. Just look at the volume.also people selling all sorts of stocks because of cost of living crisis. Plus copper price has fallen.

Solgold is raising finance we are not buying anything.
Buying and raising are completely different.
But then you cannot see that.

There is a difference between buying and raising.
When you buy eggs you use existing cash.
When you borrow or raise you are giving equity or taking on debt in one form or another. We are not raising eggs.
Surely DBW you understand that. Or maybe you don't?

I do disagree now. This was just putting feelers out.
If we issue shares then NCM and BHP have a chance to participate, however other forms of funding would I feel exclude them.
Let's see what happens.

However we do know that no fund raise was executed.
It was a discussion, and Solgold decided not to proceed.
Deciding not to proceed means no fund raise attempted.

We at some point will get a fund raise.
When we see the format that may give us some indication what the discussion was about.
Especially if we get a streaming deal and exclude BHP and NCM.

Solgold were just discussing this with their two major shareholders. We don't know what was discussed. That's why I have asked if anyone has any details.
If this is a failed fund raise, then any company proposing any fund raise means its a failed fund raise if they decide not to proceed.
I hope you would agree that's just crazy.

In order for it too fail it had to be placed. Nothing was placed therefore nothing failed. I dare say you have read the article by now. Please seanhunter feel free to block me.
