I’ve been offered 22.50 for 100,000 and 5 minutes later was offer 22.80 for the number of shares. Looking forward to another offer before close of play to see if MMs are desperate

Looks like good news on Wednesday morning, we are top of the list to move into FT 100.

According to the official indicative review data released by FTSE Russell, Aberdeen Group, Computacenter, and Investec are the companies positioned to move into the FTSE 100 from the FTSE 250

If the FTSE 100 were to be reconstituted today Aberdeen would 89th based on market capitalisation

I posted not long ago that Aberdeen were top of my takeover list and anticipated an offer in the region of £2.60.

In light of recent excellent results and Citi forecasts I feel that £2.60 is too low and additional premium will be forthcoming.

We will be joining the FTSE 100 at the next quarterly revision based on current market capitalisation, which will again add to the share price, and with Wealth Management companies circling overhead, it wouldn’t surprise me to see an offer well in excess of £3.20 within the next 6 months.

As usual DYOR, I’ve done mine and am looking forward to seeing a good return

History tells us that the most common day for Sareum to issue a RNS is Thursday. . Has somebody got advanced knowledge or simply having a punt on news tomorrow?

My patience has paid off and I’ve sold all of my holdings at £60. Hopefully I’ll be back in January when the price is south of £54.

Memsahib is having a second glass port this evening, as she is getting quite excited about the short term future of Sareum. Having watched me accumulate a substantial holding ( in her eyes !!!), over many years, the prospect a new Algarve residence Is appealing.
As for me, a large malt and a membership at Monte Rei will suffice.
After so many years I think we are in the final furlong and hopefully the winning post is in view.

Somewhere in the back of my mind I seem to recall , from a few years ago, that the potential market for Lupus was in excess of £20bn per annum.
Can any of the LTH’s remember such an estimate, or does anyone have a more accurate up to date figure?
