We cleared out more than this yesterday with all those 100,000’s taken out.

There are 5x 250,000 blocks on offer but at higher prices than previously listed.

Hope they are tested today.

They do come later in the day and early trading will be an indication .

The 6 250,000 usually show up at 7.50 along with the MM’s.

Ecuador has a pro mining government in place and this is to attract billions of dollars in tax revenues.

This is unlikely to change in the near term.

Solg has extremely close ties to the government with local advisers working closely with their counterparts.

It’s only the relative newbies on here who are raising the spectre of doom and gloom and then Lo and behold disappear as quickly as they arrived.

KB I would imagine there are far more millionaires in the number of Solg shares held than we might have thought.

After all we were at 1p and you could pick up a sizeable number for small money.

Next RNS will be important to test the desire of the 8 MM’s offering the stock to take us to a higher plateau.

Don’t forget they make their money on turnover not the price of the share so irrelevant if 38p or £1.38.

And now we had the theory that news will follow local elections on 24th March.

Personally I don't buy in to this theory.

Anna said march and she is and has always been cautious in her emails.

So as I said it could be any morning some time soon.

Surely it makes sense to sit it out and wait-there is bundles of news to come-I am eagerly awaiting regional field updates not only Cascabel/Alpala but the new tenements even more than the PEA.

After all a lot of holes can be drilled in 4 months.

I wake up every morning knowing that one morning this is it.

Imagine out of the blue RTZ make a bid- then Gina Rheinhart then the Chinese and so on.

They all know whats in the ground 23m oz of gold which by now is a lot more and millions of tones of copper.

Even Blind Freddie may turn up with a bid of his own.

So £4m will do nicely and Filthy as you well know its achievable.

One has to be really determined to wait this out.

My holding is nothing compared to the professionals. I mean NM with over 90M shares-that's £900k for every penny rise.

Tico yes you are correct.

One only gets one chance in life to hit it big.

Solg are not in the Aim casino so I don't feel at all nervous about my investment here.

However always a risk and one has to value the risk/reward scenario.

Even £2.8m wont last long with my wife and capital gains!!

Would we not just love NCM to buy from CGP the 15% share in Solg?

Now that would just set the cat amongst the pigeons.

I do not want to see us go to production even though the share price then say 4/5 years will be way higher than any takeout bid now.

But I want to retire and my retirement date rests firmly on Solg reaching £1.60 plus on a hostile takeover approach.

I have worked for 45 years for the same company and over the years starting at 4.5p right up to high 20's I have been lucky to accumulate 2 .8m shares.

Not a boast just grafted to get them.

My missus is always chastising me for holding so many ,but with a fair wind she and I will both be looking for a place in the sun.

The locals would be stark staring mad to oppose full scale mining-an industry that will bring in billions of $ in revenue for the Govt which will in turn be used for the benefit of Ecuador.

From Solgs perspective they are making all the right noises.

Investment required in copper projects
Mined copper is becoming more valuable as the increasingly copper-intensive global economy coincides with a scarcity of available mining projects in the pipeline.

A recent report by S&P Global Market Intelligence forecasts global refined copper demand to grow 2.8% this year to 24.4 million tonnes with demand projections driven primarily by demand from Asian countries such as China, which will grow 4.2% year over year to total 11.6 Mt, or 48% of global consumption.

Tight market conditions are opening up opportunities for miners to gain funding for project development. S&P Global Market Intelligence data shows that the global exploration budget grew 19% year over year to US$10.1 billion in 2018, and forecasts a further 5% to 10% increase to budgets in 2019

Its been months since we have had any meaningful news.

This is not in the style of Solg.

There has to be a reason and a very good reason why this has happened.

In my view we just have to bite our tongues and let those who make decisions carry on making those decisions wheter we like it or not.

37/38p seems to be the floor price at the moment but the pressure cooker will kick in at the first bit of meaningful news to be announced.

For what its worth I think we will start the news flow this week.

There have been a couple of false dawns as volume has spiked up at times but just to fall away.

This is about the infestors scaremongering tactics which I took up with Solgold.

The response is below and I hope the infestor reads it as I do all genuine LTH.

There is nothing for SolGold to be worried about in terms of illegal miners at Cascabel because there aren’t any. As you may know where there is visible gold at surface in developing mining nations, which there is in Ecuador, there are always illegal miners. The Ecuadorian government is aware of the issues in Ecuador and is doing everything they can to resolve this issue. It is a national government issue, not for the mining companies operating in Ecuador to deal with. Our support comes in educating the local communities in the difference between illegal mining and large scale mining.

I have just returned from a comprehensive tour of Ecuador, the US and Canada. We discussed the issue of illegal mining with the Ecuadorian Mines Minister, and I understand him to be fully abreast of the situation and is dealing with it.
