Lol - your kids seem to know more about investing better than we do.
Happy Birthday Rox.
Jesus - that RNS today is gonna cause a bun fight here. Think I will take the day off LSE
Jeez, I thought we had moved on from the 60 - 70 price point. Great time to top up and hopefully we should move on soon
Hey Rox,
That's such a beautifully written post and one at such a poignant time when one of the key members of this board has sadly passed away.
I too had the same thought and I sat down with my loved one and went through all my accounts, passwords, my wish list for distribution when I am not here.
I also wrote it down in a piece of paper in case she forgets. Furthermore, I also sent it to her via email for safe storage.
There are countless stories of families who may be living in tough times (especially during this pandemic) who may have had loved ones that passed recently that could have brought some financial comfort to them.
Lovely post and a really important message to be conveyed
Here we go.
I think its risky to be too diversified in High Street retail. So think I will sell my Wrks shares and lump a bit more on Shoe as the transformation they are doing with the Bog Box, the recent RNS and announcement of profits plus the news about the reinstatement of the dividend much earlier than expected sends signals to me that Shoe will more likely double up from here than Wrks (or at least sooner). Will put the rest on Card F as my second play for 2022 an be glued to the Card F thread to hear your articulate field reports on the Card stores near you .. Ha Ha
Shoe Zone, Wrks, Inmode and AMD were my most confident picks from last year as I invested a lot of time researching these 4 and then backing it with money of course. The Wrks seems the slow burner out of my 4 so thinking of taking profit soon and then plough it all into CARD (that is my pick for this year as well as Tullow Oil) Card F has more than a double potential as I think it may be a while before we see a £1 with the Wrks so it may be the better investment for 2022. Will wait for a few weeks and then see if the price of Wrks moves up like Shoe has since its RNS, if it doesn't, then I will move into Card - although I have currently about £12K in CARD - but I may go much big.
Lol .Your beloved card will also prosper soon Rox
People aren't selling when the ratio of buys to sells is 2:1 -
The SP is being walked down by MM to bring fear into the weak who are the ones that sell and thus provide a pool for the ii. However the amount sold is minimal and therefore there isn't many weak on PXC
That's the way I see it as the same is happening on EUA last week ahead of good news that we have been told is happening soon.
Its just a game.
This stock is so overlooked that it's shocking.
CARD F will come good - just needs a little longer - it needs Christmas to pass so it can record its bumper harvest in order for the price to move upwards.
Absolutely agree with you RetiredBanker on all points you made. The owners are careful with the way they run this business and cautious with what they have to say outside.
Many took the quietness as a sign they were going to take it private as they bought Zeus in.
I have every confidence that this company will not only enjoy the SP and Returns at pre-pandemic times but even exceed it as the pandemic has allowed them to get things in order.
I got into this in the low 50p in Jan this year (and a very heavy amount) and see no reason why this won't touch £2 a share with enough time for the transformation to the big box and hybrid retail format
Amazing how overlooked this stock is - Glad to be holding this as well as EUA.
All y'all who sold out a few days ago , coz y'all got weak in the knees.
y'all got played.
Virtually all BUYS in the last 2 hours of trading as the price was bought down. And the big buys right at the end ..
Those who sold got played.
" ... 6% is not the issue ....We are 36% down this calendar year? 25% from sept ? "
May i remind you that this is the AIM Theme Park and there are no milk floats in this park - just rollercoasters.
And I love rollercoasters as I get on knowing the risk but enjoy the rewards.
Absolutely Smellyben - people with that kind of mindset should not be investing as it seems their risk/reward assumptions are so skewed.
I just checked the scores on the doors and after all the shenanigans, we ended up with more buys than sells.
I think this was done to weed out the weak and hoover their tickets as news is coming.
The weak don't prosper in the investment game.
The price bought down and then huge buys at the end. Some of y'all got played. Hold. Stay Strong.
At my age I still love Christmas presents. I can wait till then.
Not testing my patience at all.
