He's still holding 12,036,358 & held (taken from the Arkle Resources website)
12,886,358 Last Updated 26th May 2020
The total shares in issue increased on the 7th September from the placing shares being admitted:
ARKLE RESOURCES PLC
75,000,000
ORDINARY SHARES OF EUR0.0025 EACH, FULLY PAID
(B2357X7)(IE00B2357X72)
So Paul Johnson's holding would have been affected on the 7th due to the dilution

Shouldn' the tMTPH patent awards be properly rns'd? this massive news, I'd say.
Also since the placement no new update on their website regarding shareholders - I personally think you should pull your finger out Midatech and get the positive news & updates moving.
Did you see the larger buy trades after hours then? £45k £19k, £17k etc...
Do Market Makers qualify for dividends if they are holding the shares?
Yes I agree, he probably thought the previous hostile takeover offer would help sort his fund out via NSF - he knows there is value here in PFG, look at his track record with the share & holding size, and he's still trying to hold on, 'cos he sees the massive value all too well IMO.
30 Jul 2019 - 2019 interim results announcement
•The next anticipated Provident Financial plc dividend is expected to go ex in 1 month and to be paid in 2 months. (Ex-Div Date:15 August 2019 / Pay Date:13 September 2019) which would be interim for 2019.
•The last Provident Financial plc dividend was 10p and it went ex 2 months ago and it was paid 16 days ago (21st June 2019) which was the final for 2018.
IMO
Provident declared a nominal dividend of 10.0 pence per share for 2018 (received 21/6/19), having paid none in 2017. For 2019, it intends to pay an interim dividend for 2019 in September 2019 and a final dividend in May 2020.

so far, low price seems to suit them IMO..
Otherwise they could issue an rns.
showing on different finance sites again, the last trade of 3.64 price at 11.52:11 (10,000) on 18/6/19 missing from some, not sure how that affects things but seems to happen a fair bit - does it somehow affect online trades going through (or not)? I'm not sure but it how it works yet but doesn't seem fair or right to me. (All my opinion except the fact).
the Woody effect IMO
post earlier this week that you'd been reassured by your contact with the co a few days ago with the message from IR? Odd...IMO.
News coverage has started this week, several articles posted on here (Motley Fool, Yahoo etc).
The amount is only for the a small section, the food production work wear times (before 9 and after 5) when people have to be on the premises but their official hours haven't started, and that has been in as a provision according to the rns £3.5m - £4m I think.
IMO.

lse's data is quite often incorrect (shares issued etc), think they get their data feed from a 3rd party (like Digital Look) and it's wrong a lot. I double check with the company's website. Saw an article a few days ago where the CEO (diff company) advised to always check the company's own website, as they had no control over 3rd party sites (who of course will have a disclaimer about the accuracy of info to get them off the hook).
