@orangemoon fair to a point, however, you can argue facts with these types all year round and get nowhere. They don't want to accept any other version apart from their own version which is lies, half truths, some actual truths, stirred with a dollop of BS and served with a dose of smoke and mirrors! So rebuttals just become pointless, like arguing with a wall, just bounce back at you. This of course clogs up the bb and in doing so keeps their negative posting going all the longer....which is what they want. If nobody responds they they conjure up fake id's, or their mates appear to ask stupid questions pretending to not know to keep it all going.
Unfortunately newbies, naïve or the lazy who don't do their own research can be influenced thinking the long winded monologues sound good so must be true. They then do get bit worried and sell. Which is the whole plan of these dubious individuals and their crews. TW anyone hmmm?
BlueBay on HE1 exactly the same. I used to do what you do here until realise pointless and playing into their hands. RachT2 on 80M the same. I could quote more but remarkably similar posting styles and of course all negative. Coincidence or part of same group hmmm?
So I am in the call them Wn4kers corner and report them for disruptive posting. If enough do it then even lse (whose fault it is anyway for letting this behaviour exist) eventually do something about it. But, it will never go away as been part and parcel of AIM since forever. It has got worse in recent years partly because that is how social media has gone and partly because AIM has become so much harder to make profits on.
