Trouble with Sagebrush Well is the age, the formation damage around the Well bore. Can't predict that. They have overcome obstacles so far but the acidization only got so far and not reached the undamaged reservoir to get the flow they wanted. It flowed, at what we don't know, but they obviously want it as high as possible, so go for the fracking.
So after obviously taking advice from experts, including company hired to do the fracking, it was decided all the data showed the fracking should work. It has worked in hundreds of other wells in the US alone and no reason why it shouldn't here. Otherwise they wouldn't spend the time and money doing it although of course nothing 100% in mining.
So, last week hopefully finished the high-pressure injection of water, sand, and chemicals to fracture, normally takes not longer than a week.
This week hopefully the flowback starts, again likely a week. Then they have to flow/pressure test again, another week?
All timings just rough guesstimates based on research. Perhaps we will get a tweet to say moved from one stage to another and all going to plan. Be good.
In the worst case scenario, and I don't think it will come to that, they have to drill another Well into Sagebrush. Likelihood they wouldn't move far because one thing is sure the Helium is there and from the Seismic 3D they know exactly where. Nobody thought it was a bad idea to use the old Well beforehand, saving all that time and money, perhaps that will still be the case. We will know in maybe couple more weeks.
FWIW I doubt very much that the raise was planned/timed for when it happened. Most of us knew one had to happen sooner or later, like on all AIM, we just assumed it would be after the test results. However, if someone comes along and offers 5M on AIM you would be mad not to take it given our situation and M/Cap. Nobody likes placings on AIM but they are part of every company and life. If we could all time on buys eh........as said if I believe the risk v reward is still there and high enough I average down as much as possible, like here, and take my chances. What AIM is all about.....
If flows commercially then where the SP now is irrelevant and so will be the share consolidation one would think. GL us
