Can hear that drill whirring it's way down to those hydrogen rich rocks............ the hiss of helium ready to be turned into cold, hard cash.........the sound of pipes etc being connected up.........the first sounds of machinery being turned on..........the footsteps of Tier 1 hydrogen companies executives in the back ground..........the clicking of keyboards as institutional investors get ready to pile in............the expectation of a JV or even take out by PI's...................basically the noise is deafening and if you can't hear it go get a hearing test lol!

LordWM there are plenty Labs in the States, but perhaps not Montana. I would hope if out of state to one like below would air freight them. Could costs that much for a crate load of rocks lol and there within a day. Why would you send them from US to UK doesn't make sense cost or time wise?

Sandia National Laboratories & The University of Texas at Austin: Other institutions involved in the broader Department of Energy (ARPA-E) funded research on geologic hydrogen, which may process rock samples from various US sites.

Hydrogen core samples are quick and easy to test at a Lab. So if drilling finished 19th Jan and get them off straight away as you would expect, then the time factor will be simply down to how busy Lab is. Hopefully the may be booked a slot although not sure if you can do that? 2 weeks plenty of time? So end of January? If they as good as hoping will no doubt be showing results straight to Tier 1 operators which could accelerate towards a JV/taker over quite quickly. Especially if Tier 1's get in a bidding war, yes please!

Also a week for flow testing imo, so before end of January results imo.

Off take news will take a bit longer, optimising well will take probably couple of weeks. In meantime the helium produced will be sold at spot prices via tankers I would think? Early February for off taker news

Kaeren I posted this info for interest about hyterra a small australian outfit in Kansas who have a "similar" helium and hydrogen play. Look at their JV with Geokiln and what they do. All very interesting but doesn't mean that is the way we will go. Exciting times!

McNol I thinking they hoping for at least 20 years, maybe more, as more information comes to light as they proceed.

There is no doubt that on all evidence so far the Helium concentration is exceptional. But, Helium is always being produced, just takes Billions of years to form. The rate of replenish meant can never match the rate of extraction. So however, many years it takes before they reach non commercial can always come back in another Billion years and start again lol

You probably get a few of the traders thinking got a bit of time to chase elsewhere. But for such a short period is it worth it? Invariably just lose some money in that time. Best to just sit and wait.

The compressor has been on site a while, who knows how far along the process of connecting up?

"Could", "possibly" get a "first gas" RNS by end of week. Optimising will take a bit longer but while doing that core samples will be at Lab and perforation completed. Plenty news could happen quicker than folk think now?

So trade out and back in if you dare to get your timings right. Being wrong could be very expensive.......
