Spot on Seaangler........ the board was getting a bit one track. Exactly the same thing happened on the ii Telecom Plus board when I came along and delivered bad news. That share has never recovered from its highs.

This board was getting the same, even I got a bit carried away, but came to my senses.

175p re-entry point is still more likely than the 400p for me I believe, probably around November when the real sell off happens and the FTSE 100 plummets to 5000, maybe lower after the Brexit disaster fully materialises in January 2021.

Managed to make 5% out of Lloyds Bank and Prudential the last week.

We are on the verge of the biggest global recession in recent times. Yes its going to be a bloodbath when the sell off happens.

We got very lucky being in Hydrogen, its masked a lot the last few months.

Not invested in much at all now. Tesco, National Grid and Primary Health Care and a few other small punts.

The real value will come in early 2021 after the full disaster of Brexit reveals itself.

That will be the second hammer blow after the November one.

To one of the other posters here, yes I do move with the times.

As well as long term holding recently disposed of, I couldn't help but make a bit extra via day trading a few shares in these weird times with ITM providing the best results.

It got so predictable for weeks on end it would have been daft not too.

When I log into my Hargreaves account on Monday I will check, but I easily carried out well over 150 trades across my SIPP, my ISA and my wife's SIPP and ISA.

I do still believe I will be buying back in at 175p or below, especially if there is no significant news before the results drop.

Although the trading update gave the gist of the results, when it's cast in stone that does tend to wake people up to the reality.

A company with a turnover of less than £ 5 million burning cash at £ 17 million per annum.

This really does expose just how far into the future the current SP is trading in what looks to be a very competitive market with some other worthy players out there.

Lets see what the next few months bring.

I will be happy with the speculative 175p a share or the 400p with a fuller order book.

I don't want the daily see saw ride at the moment especially as we enter the more critical time for the economy.

There is a certain blood bath coming up around November 2020, and those very new furlouged investors might just wish they had never clapped eyes on the stock market, its not like your normal Casino.

I will continue to add my musings. Some might thank me in a couple of months for taking the time and putting up with the flack. It won't be the first time in my share board action since 2007.

This has been spoken about the last few months in the USA as to why the markets rebounded so quickly as we still face one of the largest global recessions ever, masked to a certain degree here in the UK by the furlough scheme.

Lots of inexperienced day traders piling new money into the market.

That is a shame for them when the market does eventually correct itself as its starting to do.

How many are starting to get burnt here with ITM now stuck with shares bought over 300p waiting for the rise to kill off losses?

The majority of trades here have been small retail customer trades and they are what have driven the price.

The directors were very clever in using the situation to dump over £ 11 million at 285p,a share.

Now to wait for the SP to correct itself as the wider markets do the same.

Never be disappointed with profit dsc1978.

I don't know if you have had any investment disasters yet, I certainly have in the past and it does sharpen you up a bit.

I have never tried to be clever with any of my posts here, having had disasters in the past its good to introduce caution for those sitting on massive profits.

What some have achieved here inside the last 12 months has been incredible, the last five years for me have been life changing. On ITM alone since the beginning of the year off the back of just 30,0000 shares, know that is small fry to what some have declared, but since last October that is circa £ 85 K profit in less than 12 months. Can you blame me for crystallising that.

Money is never that easy to come by especially in AIM. I am £ 11 K down on another AIM share that is have held since year 2000 because I fell in love with it. The first few years I was way in front with it.

So yes, I have learnt my lesson. Never fall in love a share and don't get greedy.

My wife and I went on a £ 2500 tax free spending spree today buying new furniture for our investment property . A month back it was just unspendable paper profit.

Good luck dsc1978, never fall in love with a share especially if you are quids in, nothing in this life is guaranteed, even life itself when you see what has happened in 2020.

I did dsc1978 and was happy with the point that I bailed out.

My thoughts about Plug are the same with ITM, will be back in either on the down side potentially caused by market forces or back in when the price rises based on a bit more of an order book.

Would rather be sat on crystalised profit that I am not likely to see again, happy to miss out on some middle ground profit if I can't by back in lower.

This is a disappointment upon first read but hopefully ITM might get some Hydrogen pumps in the area via Shell.

I still share that optimism tonearm, but I don't believe in paying this much upfront when it is highly likely a better entry point, or in my case re-entry point, will make an appearance due to external market factors.

Only time will tell. I am sure happy to bide my time whilst all this uncertainty is around.

I think we have all been very lucky to have been given time to make decisions and if you have been invested in Hydrogen the last five years then we have been extremely lucky off the back of a speculative investment.

Just don't get greedy.

1LEO......I am sure way into the future that factory will be flat out. At today's market cap the SP is priced way into the future for when it's making £ 50 million and no longer burning cash.

There will for sure be another fund raising once orders start piling in and as the growth happens there will still be cash burn.

Look at Ballard and Plug Power, way ahead of ITM from a business conversion point of view and still burning cash like crazy.

Soon the price will correct itself here ITM then it will be very investable again. The last three months have been crazy. No way has the value of the company doubled, its just not possible.

It's got caught up in the hype and their are going to be some very disappointed new investors from the last few months and probably some long termers who have just got a bit greedy.

It's going to be a volatile six months ahead. I have no doubt that being out of ITM and the wider market is the right thing to do at the moment.

I will stand to be corrected after Christmas if I am wrong. I fully expect to be back in at 175p by then, and even at that price it will carry risk until we see ITM turn the corner and start making money.

It's not healthy to only read one point of view. You have to have two sides of a story.

I will be back in when the SP is more realistic to where the business is at the moment.

I have expressed an opinion that 175p is more realistic, but still speculative. I have a limit order in at 175p and I am fully expecting it to be filled in the short term.

Looks like the cold hard facts are difficult to take in for some. A dose of realism is difficult when you get a bit greedy and miss the boat of making a bit extra.

You fall in love with a share and sense can go out of the window.

ITM will deserve today's valuation at sometime in the future and more, of that I have no doubt, but its a few years off yet and they have a bit of work to do after the financial hit of German shell job. We have to see that they can get the pricing right on the current pipeline of tenders, until then it's based on a lot of faith on a company that is way over valued right now.

The directors were not daft in securing their financial future off the back of 283p share. They know how hard they have to work in a competitive market to see that price sustain.

With the volatility in the price over the last four months 90p - 365p over a time where the cash burn has nearly doubled, its not going to attract serious investors. Its become a day traders dream which you can see by the relatively small retailer trades day in day out.

Take care because when it dives below 200p again it will be short and sharp in my honest opinion

1LEO........there are well established companies out there that have made circa £ 50 million profit off of £ 800 million turnovers year in year out and paying 4% dividends valued at less than ITM.

Telecom Plus ( TEP) is one of them, valued at just over £ 1 billion.

At today's price people are paying way into to the future for the current ITM valuation.

At the current cash burn it's going to run out of cash in just over 2 years.

Can ITM become profitable before it needs to make a cash call?

Off the back of the hype I think we have all got a bit carried away with the optimism hence I think many will like look at taking the profit very soon, it has to be a temptation with all the uncertainty out there.

I would rather miss out on a bit of profit and see a bit more turnover and certainty before I re-invest or see the price return to a more realistic entry point which I do believe we will see in the not to distant future.

The SP has gone a bit too crazy of late.

Totally agree about Hydrogen fork lifts in warehousing. It is what attracted me to Plug Power just over 5 years ago.

Another one I decided to take the profit on a couple of weeks back and one I will be back into when the SP is reflecting value for money.

My opinion hasn't changed with ITM. Still looks way over valued at the moment for where it is and still have my limit order in place at 175p which reflects a more sensible re-entry point for me.

Failing that I am happy to be out of the volatility and unpredictability of the SP until we have a decent forward order book with RNS's to back up the pipeline wins. It will also be good to be clear of the Shell Germany project so we can see the final result of the losses their.

Hydrogen is certainly the future, but not at the current SP's. Good to see many of them adjusting to a more realistic price than they were a month ago, but more to go in a southwards direction to make them value for money again in my opinion.

DYOR as ever, it's your cash not mine. Just check out what future you are paying for at the moment with ITM which is some years off yet where anything can happen in that timescale especially with the competition in the market.

Yes PM44 my attitude to risk has changed since this Covid-19 has come about for the very reason you mention.

It's best to spend a bit now. Who knows how this virus might pan our. There are younger people than me who have lost their lives to it.

I have taken my fair share of risk and my adventure with Hydrogen stocks the last five years was a major risk, but I got away with it.

More than happy to continue the adventure when a better entry level comes about.

Personally off the back of substantial profits the last decade I am happy to hold cash at the moment.

My age is a factor there of course. If I was younger and time was on my side I may be more inclined to ride things out.

For the moment I am happy to forgo any short term profit if there is any to be had, in favour of bargain hunting in the future and I think there will be a lot of opportunities for that in 2021 as 2020 comes to a potentially bad ending, eroding a lot of profits of years past.

Never have we been given so much advance warning to get out and hold cash.

Nobody in investment circles quite knows how the market in general has held up so well.

That bubble is starting to burst now and the wider markets are starting the decent.

Sadly it will affect shares like ITM because people will want to protect profit. Already paper profits have dwindled substantially here and there is a way to go yet.

You could well be right with your 150p prediction and I won't be going all back in at 175p should that occur because once the sell off starts here it will be devastating to the SP and it will be quick.

Looks like we are in for two drops in a row as the penny starts to drop. One major sale and you could see a 50p major tank in one go.

Latest from ITM is it will be completed in November.

Lloyds Bank being worth a punt at 26p that should be.
