Not sure why anyone is expecting the new guy to say or do anything next week?

Just a normal trading day, DOW opens down takes UK stocks with it and then turns positive. Yawn same old same old!! Ftse and UK stocks are a joke and I will be investing in US stocks when we have another recession or pandemic

Longtimeinvestor about a month looking at 5-10% gains. Have missed the rise on barcs and NWG and I only deal in banking shares

The only reason I purchased lloyds is they have risen less than Barc and NWG was thinking they have to catch up, how wrong was I. Barclays and NWG are pretty much at a 52 week high and i have missed the gains I could have had. As per my previous message a couple of days ago I only really deal with banking shares as I know they are solid. I did try RR and took around a 6% profit, again these are a little high aswell I think

I should have stuck with Barcs and NWG bring on 50p then I'm done with this donkey

WTH is going on with this share?? Getting left behind every day and fails to keep any type of small gains.

Richie that's because ftse shares are a joke and only move inline with the DOW. Look at todays chart and see what happens once the DOW opens it says it all really

Disinform to work out the share price against the US you need to divide by 4 then divide it by the exchange rate

MrJimV overall it has not done as well since the pandemic began, it still lagging behind the two based on todays prices.

Bumble you are correct but I only really deal with this sector because its solid with little risk. I am trading now with a what I think is a big chunk of money looking for 5% on a monthly basis

I have 80% of my funds invested in here now and I am now thinking was it the correct decision. The likes of NWG and Barclays share prices motoring ahead and Lloyds doing nothing as always.

ex divi today so was expecting a fall but its over done!! If this drips tomorrow I will go all in for sure. Looking for a 5-10% increase

LTI was just banking profits which should all do time to time.
I may trade this for a while and see how I get on looking for 5%

DOW up today and down tomorrow will restrict the FTSE like it always does, its becoming comical!!

Hardup - this is why I always look at the DOW as the indicator now as ot controls the FTSE and where its going. I have gone to cash now after selling my Barclays, lloyds & Natwest shares, the DOW is struggling to stay over 35000 so not so confident it will continue without some sort of retrace.
