Yes, can't seem to register / login to Engage Investor presentation ? Not sure why they changed from the 'Investor Meet Company' platform - who seemed to do a good job.

Pretty sure it was a sell - was offered 0.845 on 600,000 early this morning. Declined, holding tight .. Irish Election - Friday 29th November, EOG investor presentation - scheduled for Monday, 2nd December.

Ireland a bonus, but the General Election for 29th November is one step closer (eitherway). Both BIG prizes, and a significant re-rate if all goes to plan - good luck all invested.

CGH1984 .. I think you are refering to the 2nd July RNS's .. Director purchases - 1 million @ 45.3p by Wesley ter Haar / Victor Knapp, followed by 54,000 @ 45.7p to Scott Spirit. I've been accumulating since, added some more today - in anticipation of US/UK interest rates / H1 results next week. Good luck all.

We could certainly do with a bit more communication / updates from management .. shareholders in the dark here ! The Investor Meet Presentation was good last September - come on Ross Glover (new CEO if you hadn't noticed) .. time for another one, or an interview with Malcy - keep us loyal shareholders informed.

Totally agree Pboo .. get out and Vote Reform - who will scrap the windfall tax and fully support UK oil & gas production / fracking.

Are you going to the AGM Heid .. if not, why not ? Surely that's the best place to ask questions of the directors, instead of banging on about the same old s*** - EVERY day on here ! You do make some good points, I agree with you on the buybacks for example .. but surely *if* you or your family are still invested in UJO, then it would make sense to attend in person and speak to David ? Next Thursday 27th, in Bristol.

If the buybacks start again, before the AGM - that would be the cherry on the cake .. come on David, you know you want to ;-)

Decent write up from Malcolm Graham Wood on Twitter .. it would be nice to see an interview with new CEO, Ross Glover, and more regular social media posts updates from the company. I do think STAR ENERGY would benefit from some improved PR .. attract new investors and certainly more regular communication with existing / potential shareholders. It's a good little company - let's get the message out there !

'A confident statement from new CEO Ross Glover who appears to have a strong grip on the portfolio and how to maximise performance. He starts with production of c.2000 boe/d in line with guidance and they are well placed to use the well stock to give a swift payback and to keep opex down, and without the shale licences around their neck. New projects are still coming through the system which is encouraging and I like his attitude about right-sizing the business. The recent refinancing has helped this and offers flexibility on the growth front with a stronger balance sheet, optionality with regard to economics and offering upside in the portfolio. As for geothermal, the new CEO is a believer and claims it will play a ‘key part’ in decarbonising heat without a lot of the detritus of conventional sources of energy. I will bow to him on that front as it looks too good to be true and you know what they say about that .. I’m confident that Star is on the right road and in a good place with Ross Glover in the driving seat, sticking with the oil and gas knitting in these days seems a wise move, I look forward to seeing the development of Star under new management.'

I suspect we’ll hear news before the AGM .. w/c 24th June. Perhaps not just flow rates, but also a more detailed plan for Andrews 2. Let’s hope so, ex divi 4th July - another key date.

Let’s hope if he has, the £23,230 can be put to a huge slap up meal at the AGM .. a few go go girls .. or a company day at the races for shareholders perhaps ! ;-) Seriously, Beacon probably a write off now - not great, but it’s a risky business. All I can say is thank goodness for the move Stateside, the future.

Pboo .. with respect - what if the flow rate is 75 to 100+ bopd ? I presume you'll be on here congratulating David on diversifying away from the high tax, bureaucratic UK, at the right time .. and moving to a more business friendly environment ? Personally, I'm very happy with the U.S. move, short - medium - and long term. With more wells / drilling planned it could be that Oklahoma is contributing more to the balance sheet than Wressle in 1-2 years (after tax). Of course, the recent drop in SP is disappointing .. but LTH's see the bigger picture.
