The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode featuring financial educator and author Jared Dillian has been released. Listen here.
Just topped up another 10 mill at 0.09 .. there was another 9.2 mill buy just before mine.
Hoping for a positive update, early next week / week after - good luck all.
Dancing on the ceiling ? Let's hope so ..
Ha, no problem Gwynwin .. your post did leave me a little confused ! :-)
Interesting that the couple interviewed at Wressle, who lived / grew up in the area saw NO detrimental effects whatsoever from the operational site .. 'most locals don't even know it is there'. Also, no mention of the £100,000+ gifted to local community projects by Egdon & the Wressle partners either. Typical BBC, with an agenda - usual anti-fossil fuel tripe.
Fantastic news .. well done Roland. A Sunday morning tweet, it’s done. I’d expect significant interest now as anticipation builds towards a full announcement .. ‘an ambitious drilling programme’ - exciting stuff.
Ooops .. 1.5p in June '23. £1.50 .. that would show confidence ! ;-)
WA - his previous purchase was in June '23 - @ approx. £1.50 .. took his stake from 3.73 - 5.29% .. now up to 6%, a fair chunk. Still confident, a good sign, imo.
Indeed Gordon, I've only been invested since Roland joined in June '21 .. but there's been so many twists and turns - you lose sight of where things are at sometimes, lol.
Interesting article - dated 14.12.23 .. some history and a decent summary of where we are at, together with an overview of the full field develoment plans at Cambay. Apologies if posted before, I'd not seen it .. helps while away the hours, waiting for some news from Roland :-)

Sorry, October '23 :-)
Applebee .. see the Investor Meet Presentation - October '22 (from 37 mins) - this question is specifically addressed. To summarise, Roland confirms the Government of India approval can take up to 6 months from the signing of a JOA, but is a formality - and doesn't stop Synergia / the farmee partner getting on with things. The stated plan is to start the full field development & drill new wells in H1 (q1/q2) of 2024.

A photo of Roland, with a big fat cigar, sporting a huge grin .. next tweet, hopefully ;-) Good luck all.
Another excellent Share Talk interview .. with a bit more background - which may be helpful for any new investors. October '22, again Roland talks in depth about the Cambay development, CCS and the share price / company valuation .. the share price was 0.10p at this point. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DjIYPkrkFB0
Almost 6 months to the day since Roland did this interview .. with the JV so close now, I had another listen. There's some really good stuff in there, it's easy to get bogged down on the chat forums and lose sight of the bigger picture & potential of the company. Both Cambay and CCS are serious assets / projects with a big future. If things fall into place over the next 12-18mths, then I'm starting to think JackPack may not be too wild in his 1.5p share price prediction .. although I'll happily settle for 0.5p in the short term ! :-)
It's been a frustrating 2-3 years, but great progress has been made since Roland became CEO in June '21 - and we are VERY close now to a company defining deal and major step forward. Interesting to hear Roland's thoughts on the company valuation / share price too (from 8.20 mins) - it was 0.13p in July '23 at the time of the interview .. https://zakstraderscafe.com/roland-wessel-ceo-synergia/7355/
There it is .. a 10 million sell @ 0.08p - well done Candlestick, spot on. Let's hope we're primed for lift off on Monday now.
Go on then Sausage, it was me .. just took another 4 million. Roland in India next week - if the JV is finalised, I'd expect the share price to move very quickly. Another face to face meeting, on the back of the one pre-Christmas - to work on 'definitive documents' - tells me both parties are keen to conclude the deal and it's close. Fingers crossed ! GLA.
To be fair, Will Holland also bought shares in March ‘23 .. approx £13,300 worth at 1.24p average. He spent over £31,000 in total last year - including the October/December batches. Not a huge amount, but not insignificant either - obviously further purchases would be most welcome. Good to see Alistair Stuart buying too .. keep ‘em coming gents.
I see Harbour Energy have acquired the above - including all Wintershall’s CCS licenses in Europe. It’s a way down the line for SYN, but looks like we have a new CCS partner.
Point taken Crushcutfluor - perhaps a bit harsh on Alistair, I still think Will Holland is better suited to these type of presentations. Both looked a bit shaky, perhaps it was the 'live' Q & A format, or maybe the growing shareholder disquiet contributed to the nerves ? (!) Eitherway, the opportunity for regular feedback / updates is helpful and welcomed. The Investor Meet platform is pretty good in that respect.
This afternoon's Investor Meet - Q&A now online : https://www.investormeetcompany.com/investor/meeting/full-year-results-109
Personally, I didn't think it was as bad as is being portrayed on here, but agree it wasn't the best presentation, the 2 person panel didn't work. Will Holland is normally very slick but looked a bit rattled, particularly on Director's pay etc .. as for Alistair Stuart - crikey, keep him away from presentations in the future, looked disinterested and lacked the oratory skills. One thing not mentioned so far is the Wressle updated CPR - long overdue - apparently more info. to come 'imminently' .. I sensed a slight frustration with Egdon's timescale management.
