The market strongly believes that copper-demand will significantly reduce as economies around the world contract because of an as-yet unstoppable inflationary push; conversely, the world’s major governments are compelled to transition to greener forms of energy - to reduce not only the negative impact of global warming, but also reliance on fossil fuels from geopolitically troublesome countries - resulting in an inevitably higher demand for electrification-related metals; the declining copper-price and its supply combined with the consensus of a demand-surge demonstrates an illogical discrepancy: at some point - sooner rather than later - panic through realisation of the impending copper-shortage should yield a healthy price-increase.
