Its quite clear now that the reason that the JV is not happening until next year is that the potential partner needs to see if COPl can extract enough oil to keep afloat. All the rubbish here about negotiations and trying to get the best deal, work out the details etc etc was pure nonsense particularly when COPL said months ago that this was the best deal on the table.

The RNS only saves us from disaster, the rest now depends on Art who is in charge of the JV, if you are happy about all this Stas then i'm surprised. Please calm down.

Yes i always starts blue and finished red just to entice buyers. IMO its totally foolish to buy at present as this will most def go to the mid 1's. Then maybe a top up is sensible. This is a longer term hold now. and fingers crossed.

I'm pretty sure they said that injection was re commencing in September which could mean any day in September even Sept 30. No doubt we will carry on like this month after month until we finally realise that declining production over months/years was never a function of gas pressure but of a more fundamental nature, which may have come to light had proper due diligence been done when the two failing companies were purchased. GGS may have been Arts attempt to excuse poor production whilst treading water to keep the wolves from the door. Well the JV will be the next big thing and perhaps the next big failure as there wont be any JV with a failing company. Time will tell whether this theory is correct.

Incidentally, I love how the mm's take it up every morning on opening to draw people in then by the evening 2 to 5 per cent down. Just so predictable. Will buy again if we go below 2. Despite feeling let down my fingers are crossed x3 for good news....just have to wait.

I tend to agree with another guy who posted recently saying that the share price should not be so low considering by now a number of people know how things are progressing and there must be leaks. IMO the news coming is not good or we would not be stuck at this awful price. Anyway will just continue holding as the clouds coming must have silvery oil linings.
