Dazed, speaking to IR or speaking directly to GR is the same thing, in the end the IR lady had to wait for GR to come back to the SA office to answer the questions raised.
I am confident we will hit the Q1 target but fingers crossed anyways.

I just got a reply from IR but it doesn't say anything new:
"In the context that hot commissioning requires electrical connections and switch on of components at the plant, this is already a work in progress and will bring all components online as quickly as we can.  Anticipated Spodumene production this Q1."
This "anticipated" doesn't exactly instill confidence.
It's just a waiting game now until further news are released.

Well spotted Jenkoo, as Acker says, GR has become very careful with his wording. I am confident PREM will have the power on and testing completed by end of March, otherwise we will see a solid drop in sp. We waited years, few more weeks won't change much. Not an ideal RNS yesterday that imo could have been avoided had they managed our expectations a bit better but oh well, moving on.

If they were worth £420mil with a plant one quarter the size of ours then we have a lot going for us and lots to look forward to. Obviously the resource definition will be key at Zulu.

I wish IR hadn't confirmed power to go on by last Friday and GR had not spoken of HC by 15th Feb. And lorries have not all passed the border yet. This created a sense of expectation. They also "missed my email" last week and will get back to me soon with a reply. Going to have to start taking their info with a pinch of salt.

Obviously there are 2-3 weeks delays now but fundamentally nothing changes, as long as we commence by end of March we are good. The drone video is fantastic, we've come a long way and it won't be some parts missing or some rain to stop PREM. I expect the sp to recover a bit but also fluctuate wildly for a while now until the market gets confirmation that we are within the Q1 timeline that has been RNSed. Let's go!

I am not disappointed nor surprised, slight delayes were expected. I am sure all the good stuff is happening on the ground, everyone must be incredibly busy as twitter has been quiet and Investor Relations have not replied to my email from yesterday morning yet and usually i get replies within the hour. Plus the thunderstorms are certainly not helping.
We are a few hours/days away from power and testing, it will be all great, i am certain of it!

Hi Wolf, i may have missed this discussion about the beneficiation done 70km away? Can't seem to find info on that.
But that would be great so: lithium comes out of Zulu, sent 70km for beneficiation and then sent to the Mutoko refinery on the other side of Zimb that Mr. Pei Zenhua wants to build. Then shipped to China. A win-win for Zimb, PREM and Suzhou.

Also great news that the Zim government is openly backing the Zulu project, well done GR.

That is a great reminder Acker, a 24km strike zone with some tantalum, rubidium and other minerals including gold is mind blowing. A few more Zulus out there, and potentially even richer!
PREM's diplomatic and social actions on the ground are surely paving the way to new licences and agreements.

Totally agree with you, the work done on the ground by PREM has been fantastic. I have no doubt PREM will be rewarded for their relationship building, infrastructure improvements and political ties.

I use to be able to tell via webull but they removed all UK listed stocks from their platform, very annoying. Need to find another detailed screener.

Hi SK, is point number 4 about extra EPO licence just a hunch of yours or you know something? To be honest after Pei's visit nothing would surprise anymore, but that would be massive news.

Morning gents. As per investor relations, power to the plant should be added end of this week.
As makingcash says, testing will then commence. Not sure how long testing will last for, but if GR is sure that the first batch of spodumene will be shipped out by end of Q1, then stress testing/recalibrating should not be longer than 2-4 weeks.
I do expect an RNS to state the above sometime this month hopefully. Then another RNS in March to officially launch operations and agree on the monthly spodumene prices.
I don't expect the price to rise that much more during this testing phase but who knows.
Weather for the next 7 days is just rain and thunderstorms. Should clear after that.
Due to a lack of RUS i am really curious to hear in Mar/Apr how much quantity and at what quality that first spodumene batch is. And i really look forward to "side results" of other elements that the ore sorter will find. Not long to go!

Aha! Ok, not sure why in my mind there would have been a settled price with a 10% discount, had not grasped this price would fluctuate.

To those more experienced: when do you reckon PREM and Suzhou decide on a spodumene sale price? This week? After the plant is operational? After the first batch is out?
I assume this agreement will require an RNS but not sure when to expect one. Any ideas?

What got me to jump out my chair is the confirmation that power on the plant gets switched on at the end of next week.
Which means in a few weeks we will hear: "Testing is complete, PREM can now commence operations." And that is when i pop open a champagne bottle!
Then i have other bottles waiting for: full debt repaid, a RUS, end of DFS! Hope it's a boozy 2023 lol!

A: Yes

- Is all equipment on site already? Seems like there is still some work to do judging by the journalists photos from his site visit yesterday 
A: Except for one or two items, for example the compressors and front end crusher, all is on site

- Is hot commissioning still for the 15th Feb? Seems maybe 1-2 weeks delayed.
A: All aspects are coming along as anticipated, power will be on towards the end of next week

- In terms of funds, does PREM have all it takes until launch or would PREM need to raise any last minute funds with investors over the next weeks/months?
A: To date PREM has met all expenditure required to commission the plant to date

Obviously Jabulani's interview is 3-4 weeks old. But amazing to hear of doubling the plant in 2-3 years, of the words "lithium beneficiation plant" and hearing the success stories from the local workforce.
Excitement is building up!

Thanks Alert, we saw them being installed via crane yesterday through videos of our resident journalist. At least now we know PREMs' tweet is only 24 hours old.

On a side note, GR with all this community support (roads, schools, irrigation, housing etc) is making PREM and Suzhou look fantastic on the ground. These gestures and relationship building with locals and government officials will be of massive help for future EPO grants, expansions, exploration etc. I hope to see PREM develop into a household name in Zimb and continue its growth across the EPO, open full mines etc....i'd prefer that for the next 2-3 years than a buy out. Come on GR, you got this!
