Alert, I agree, cannot be right. I'd be surprised if testing actually commenced this week. But it won't take 22 days to complete....not sure where that number came from.

I had forgotten about the discussions around the depth of the initial lithium (won't be a deep pit), the 22 days of operations and 48k tonnes, the fact grades might be lower at the start due to weathering and of the other interesting prospects like resolving RHA and the new mine JVed at Li3.
I also add another point on my list of things to look forward to: to hear the plant will be optimised and plans of expansions released.

By the way, apparently GR is abroad at a mining conference all week.

Yes Acker, we've seen that a few times here. I wrote to IR again just now, not that i fully trust them anymore, but better than no info at all.
I actually don't mind not shipping anything by end of Q1 (seems unlikely anyways) but i hope we at least complete testing and get production started by end of month otherwise this will drop fast. I am confident we can achieve the latter.
3 things i look forward to:
March - testing complete and production started
April - First batch price agreed (wonder what price that will be) and shipped out
May/June - by now we should have a better understanding of the quality and quantities in the ground

All 3 should have at least a small positive impact on price. RUS, DFS or asset sale should instead have a major impact on price.

Cheers acker and Furion, yuo are right in saying that spodumene 6% prices are somewhat stable but the metal and carbonate are dropping fast. What is the likelyhood that this drags down spodumene 6% prices as well soon? I suppose i don't fully understand the relationship between these groups enough.
Surely we won't be selling it at $5000 a tonne.

Falling prices due to Tesla's plans for batteries withour rare earth elements and CATL slashing battery prices as China forecasts prices to drop further.
Time is ticking GR, let's make the best of this apparently last wave of high prices as it seems supply is starting to catch up to demand.
A sale of Zulu makes even more sense if these forecasts prove to be right.

Looks like some key components were still missing and not "minor ones" as described by IR.
