I have all along believed that EUA are applying for more licences to include the excess over 15m oz and hence the delay. I think the fruits to be delivered at the end will be much much more sweeter.

I would agree with you. There will be a huge rerate on bhukia and Lebola news. Been reviewing again material on Kalaka and it looks like a hot property. As I mentioned last week, Bido and the number of targets within it reminds me very much of the Anza project in Omi and Bido with its 9 targets in itself appears to be a company maker. The vast part of the 9 targets in Bido seem to show, according to the geochem map analysis, greater than 500 ppb and the target area is very similar to Anza.

Hi Womo - perhaps I am completely off tangent . But it makes sense if we are going to generate large amount of consideration from the possible Bhukia JV unless there is another very good reason for the Kalaka announcement which we do not of.

To me, it seems that whilst the negotiations between us and the Govt of Rajasthan were taking place, they must have realised the need for additional small amount of time required. Well before the court hearing during the holidays, the parties agree to a date (i.e. 15th Jan) which they subsequently request the Courts to grant. This all must be based on a say 95% probability of an agreed outcome. Hence, when you read the last Kalaka RNS, it states that "UNLESS EXTENDED" (on the 14th Jan), Panthera will retain its interest in the Kalaka project. There was no need for this development vis a vis the Kalaka project unless the management knew with vastly greater degree of certainty that an "AMICABLE AGREEMENT" will be reached on Bhukia.

Certainly looks as if the management have decided that we want to carry Kalaka ourselves. That is a big statement and appears to flow from the likely significant development forward on Bhukia.

Hello everyone

Looking at the last RNS, Kalaka has been pushed back to 14 January, one day before the Bhukia hearing. The RNs stated "If the transfer of the Kalaka project does not occur on or before 14 January 2021, UNLESS EXTENDED, Panthera will retain its interest in the Kalaka project ".

I now firmly believe that the Bhukia date of 15 January and the Kalaka date of 14 January are not coincidence. The Bhukia extension is merely a formality now to put things together before the case is "Disposed". Huge revenue to be raised from Bhukia JV which will mean that we retain our interest in Kalaka. All in my opinion. What does everyone think?
